I gasped, backing up until I came in contact with the wall. "W-What are you doing here?" I asked as I saw my mother stalk out of the shadows. I was about to scream for help, but she put her hand over my mouth, shushing me. I looked panicked . "Now let's get out of here," she said as she led me through the dark corridors of the Ulixes, somehow finding her way through it quite easily. "No! You don't understand. They saved me! They're my friends!" I pleaded, but I could tell she didn't believe me. "APRIL! PROFESSO—" I yelled, but was interrupted when my mother slammed me into the wall of the ship, creating a low 'THUD.' "Quiet!" She hissed. My hands began to glow as I pried her off of me. "I'm not going," I growled, just as the Professor and Donnie rounded the corner. "Oh dear," the Professor said. "Tessa!" Donnie yelled. "Get away from those vile mutants!" My mother hissed, putting some collar like object around my wrist which ended up shocking me. "AAAH!" I yelled in pain. I looked up weakly, noticing my mother's guards standing at an opening where they apparently entered the ship. I saw Donnie grab me by my leg, pulling as hard as he could with the Professor's help. I saw April too. "Tessa!" She yelled. With all 3 helping pull me, my mother lost her grip and I flew to the ground, where Donnie and April quickly stepped in front of me. "I'll take her to the infirmary," the Professor said. Donnie and April nodded. I felt myself being lifted off the ground by robotic arms, groaning as I drifted in and out of consciousness. I felt myself being laid down on the familiar table in the infirmary. Even on the edge of consciousness, I could hear the fighting going on between my other 2 friends and my mother and her guards. They stood no chance. My mother had powers extremely powerful. I can't even imagine what they're like right now. I tried to sit up, but a robotic hand stopped me. "You need rest, Tessa. I can go assist the others," I heard the Professor say calmly. I heard robotic feet exiting the room, and shortly after, multiple bodies hitting the wall. I blacked out.

When I woke up, it was to an eerie silence. I got to admit I felt a lot better. I sat up, groaning as I rubbed my sore head. I glanced around, noticing that no one was there. "Oh god..." I thought to myself as I jumped off the floating table and rushed through the corridors of the Ulixes. I knew by now that my mother had fled, leaving the ship drifting in space with no one to pilot it. I came across Donnie and April on the floor, groaning and unconscious. I noticed the Professor was on his knees, clearly malfunctioning as he must of been hit with one of my mother's powerful blasts. I ran over, kneeling down next to the Fugitoid since he was closest. "Professor," I said. The Professor remained quiet, but he looked over at me, then he turned his head to where the others laid. I guessed he wanted me to get them to the infirmaries first, so I walked over to both Donnie and April. My hands glowed as both Donnie and April were lifted off the ground. I teleported them out of my hands and to the infirmaries. I needed to make sure they were there, so I used my super speed to run through each room before going back to the Professor. Donnie and April were both in the infirmary rooms, so I didn't have to worry much about them. I helped prop the Professor against the wall, inspecting his damages. My hands glowed a yellowish color as I ran my hand over the area he was damaged. I watched in relief as the damage began to repair itself. Once I was done, which took about 5 minutes, I watched as the Professor got up. "Amazing work, Tessa!" The Professor chirped happily as he put his hand on my shoulder. We both walked to April's room, where he treated her before he then treated Donnie. I used my magic to help switch the rooms they were in so we didn't have to repeatedly walk back and forth. "I'm so sorry about what happened..Its all my fault...I should of just—" I started before I looked over to see the Professor put a robotic hand on my shoulder. "It's not your fault! You have absolutely nothing to apologize for," the Professor said gently. "Really..?" I asked just for clearance. I didn't know if he actually meant that, because a lot of people who say that end up saying something else. I've gotten to know the Professor better though. "Of course!" He replied with a happy expression. "Thanks," I said, giving a small smile. "I couldn't think of any better friends to have. And my mother should of knew that," I said, sighing shortly after knowing that she didn't want me to be with these 'freaks.'
"I thought she perished in Thalia Natui," the Professor said. "I did as well until she showed up in my room.." I said, rubbing the back of my head. I was still a bit traumatized about what happened, but I'm sure it wouldn't last for a while. Later, I went back to my room and glanced at the clock, which now read 4:12 AM. I sighed. The room made me uncomfortable, but the fact that the Professor installed cameras designed to alert him if a stranger came in to the room, or the ship for that matter, made me feel better.
