It was three days after the riders took out the dragon hunter's gold supply when they got the terror mail. Freya and Snotlout where watching over the Skrill egg when the twins walked in holding an exhausted looking Terrible Terror. The little dragon was gasping for breath and its eyes were full of worry. The Queen immediately rush to get the poor creature some water.
You poor thing, what is the matter?
The little dragon made its way of to her and gladly took the water calming itself down before bowing and removing a letter from its hind leg.
Sorry your majesty, I have flown a long way but I bring you a message. A letter from the hunters, from Viggo himself.
Freya slightly froze at the dragon's words remembering the last interaction she had with the man. For some reason for the last three days any mention of the hunters' name gave her a strange feeling in the bottom of her stomach. She was still debating whether she had made the right decision warning him. "Someone get Hiccup and the others,"
"No need, were here,"
As if on que Hiccup and the others strode through the doors and gave her a swift nod. Everyone turned their attention to Freya and she hesitantly took the note and read it out loud.
Dragon Riders,
I commend you for your efforts in finding my gold the other day, well played. Unfortunately, this little war going on between us is bad from business and something I believe can be easily avoided. I wish to make a deal that I think both parties will be interested in and benefit from. I don't wish to explain too much information in a letter that can be intercepted so I have taken it upon myself to set up a meeting place to discuss this deal in more detail. You are more than welcome to bring all of your riders to the meeting place but the deal will only be discussed between Hiccup, Freya my brother and I. Come to Blue Flora Island at midday. This is deal you don't want to miss. Trust me.
Viggo,
"Well its obviously a trap," Astrid commented after a minute of silence between the group.
"Of course it is, but when has that ever stopped us from going?" Hiccup lightheartedly joked. Most of the riders let out a grown.
"I think we should see what he has to say. Even if we don't agree to the deal there's no harm in hearing what he has to say right?" Freya then turned to the small Terrible Terror that had come to perch on her shoulder. "What do you think little one?" The dragon paused and scratched his head in thought. When it spoke, it spoke slowly as if trying to make sure to say the write words.
"Personally, I believe it is a trap my queen, after all they are dragon hunters, but..." he trailed off, scratching his head slightly. "The dragons on the hunters base have overheard the guards saying that their leader had been in a strangely forgiving mood even after your riders had attacked and cut off their gold supplies. Perhaps he will benefit some way in this so call deal he has to offer? If you and your friends benefit in the deal as well is another story,"
Freya nodded knowingly at the dragon repeating its words for the Vikings around her. Disagreement sounded around her once again. Hiccup and Fishlegs wished to hear the dragon hunter out while Astrid and Snotlout were against the idea. She watched in silence with Heather and the twins as the group argued amongst each other. Voices began to get louder until it was almost impossible to hear yourself think. Freya growled lowly to herself. Toothless heard this and let out a loud screech making the Vikings go silent.
"Thankyou Toothless," she mumbled giving the Nightfury a scratch and calming herself down to talk. "Look at yourselves, arguing over each other like children. If this is how you will act when faced with a threat, to turn on each other like a pack of wild dogs, then Viggo has already won. We all already know we are going, it's what we do. What we should be focusing on is how we are going to keep one step ahead of Viggo when we do meet with him."
