Moments After the Announcement of the Mock Battle............

Hiro was in the boy's dorm, waiting for the preparations to be ready for his fight, and Goro was there with him.

Goro was on the other side of the room while at the same time cleaning off his glasses. 

He then started to speak to Hiro, "I guess Zorome can't let go of the fight he had with Sina so he's taking it out on you".

Hiro then looked at Goro and responded, "Ya, but I'm sorry I have to use your partner for this".

Then a small ringtone was heard, it belonged to Hiro's messenger. The message said that all preparations for the battle were ready.

Goro noticed the ring and asked, "Is everything ready".

"Ya got to go", Hiro responded.

"Kay later", Hiro then started heading for the door until Goro spoke again.  "And Hiro, I couldn't have told Ichigo not to, even if I wanted to", Goro replied.

"Thanks, I'm gonna make this one count. I swear it", Hiro assured him.

"Good, I know you can do it", Goro said.

Hiro then looks at his palm then closes it, and then he walks out to the area of the battle.

At the Area of the Battle.......................

Both Ichigo and Hiro were already in the cockpit of Delphinium, as well as Miku and Zorome in Argentea.

In Delphinium's cockpit, a COM suddenly appeared, and on the screen was Zorome. "Hey, we have some unfinished business to handle pal", he said while pointing with his index finger.

"Given Your partner's track record I may just beat you this time great leader", Miku said in another COM.

"Fine by me", Ichigo told the other pair. "This test isn't about winning or losing", she stated.

"Miku is as pumped for this, as Zorome is", Futoshi said while he was with the others that were spectating the battle.

Back inside Delphinium ....................

"Just relax and focus on connecting, I'll take care of the rest", Ichigo said while she got in position.

"Got it", Hiro said while taking the control of the franxx.

Then an audio COM appeared it was Hachi, "Commence the mock battle", he ordered.

Argentea then got itself in a stance, "Ready when you are", Zorome said through the COM.

Inside Delphinium, both the kids we barely connecting, "Focus",  Ichigo said.

Slowly but surely both parasites managed to connect and start the franxx. 

Zorome then noticed and he had a shocked reaction, "No way this cant be".

Hiro then made delphinium move its hands and its head.

Everyone else that was spectating noticed that Hiro had finally managed to connect in a franxx.

"Way to go Hiro", Goro said while reeling in his fist due to his excitement.

Even the others were surprised about the accomplishment.

"wow", Kokoro said. 

"Incredible", Futoshi said.

"Nice", Ikuno agreed.

Then Delphinium took out a weapon and started walking up to Argentea.

"Now the real test begins", Nana said through the COM.
