The day after the klaxosaur attack the start-up ritual picked up where it left off, only in a much quieter fashion. this time Papa and the other adults weren't there to witness it. The adults told Hiro had indeed piloted the giant franxx called Strelitzia, but as far as to what had occurred to Hiro after he had entered, nobody knew. 

Time skip...................

 It was a quiet morning in the house of the children, the woods were filled with sunshine. In the woods, Hiro was burying the bird that had died from hitting the glass. He even placed a flower on top of the birds' grave. He then left for his home, as he was walking back, he noticed a boy waiting for him.

"Hey Sina, don't tell me you've been waiting for me since this morning", Hiro asked.

"Yes, I have",  he said as he approached Hiro. "I wanted to ask you, as leader of the group, are you planning on staying?", Sina asked in a serious tone.

"Y-yes", Hiro said while looking down. He knew that some of his friends disliked him for not being able to improve his abilities to be a pilot, he thought that maybe Sina felt the same way. 

"I know that you might not want me he-", he was then cut off when Sina hugged him.

"Its good to have you back, brother", Hiro then had a tear in his eyes.

 In the past, he and Sina weren't the closest of friends, but that changed for some reason and they then became the closest friend.  Sina never made their close friendship public, but that didn't mean they wouldn't hang out. Hiro was glad that Sina wasn't mad at him. 

Sina then let go and punched his arm lightly, "Your crying, that part of you hasn't changed at all".

Hiro noticed too, as he went to wipe away the happy tear he had in his eye.

The door of the house then opened and Goro stepped out.

"Hey, you guys have to get in here, that weird girl is in our mess hall", Goro said with a worried expression.

Everyone was now sitting around the dining room, the men and the female were separated each on their own sides. On the girl's side, there was a girl with horns making a mountain food covered in syrup.

ZeroTwo was covering all her food in honey syrup, like her steak and her vegetables. As Miku saw this she felt like barfing, she had never seen someone eat like that.  

"What is she still doing here?", Miku whispered to her friends.

"What a strange person, she must love sweet things", Kokoro stated.

"If you forgot, no person has horns", Miku said, while also making fake horns with her fingers on her head.

"That's enough, don't forget she's our savior, so be nice", Ichigo ordered.

"hmmph", was all Miku said. 

Also on the other side of their table was Ikuno, she was spreading the cream on her beagle.

"What I wanna know is if she really has klaxosaur blood and why Sina and she have single digit codes, but no one else does", Ikuno wondered.

On the other side of the room was the guy's table, they were pretty much having the same talk of the strange girl.

"She's nothing like the rumors said she'll be", Futoshi said while grabbing more sugar loaves of bread from the table.

"And her eating habits kinda kill her charm", Goro added with a kind smile.

Hiro wasn't very focused on her eating habits, but instead, in her physical condition, "I can't believe her injuries healed so quickly".

Then Zorome walked up to her, he was going to try to get ZeroTwo's admiration.
