Chapter 70

Error P.O.V

As Shattered stared at me, aiming for my head Cross came over and quickly chopped off the tentacle that was holding me. Cross arm got hit with Shattered other tentacle that was aiming for my head. Everyone in Outertale started to panic and run away as Ink came over to me, "Are you ok?!" Ink asked, I couldn't answer I was in shock and it felt like my body was paralyzed. Ink released me from the tentacle that was still around me, as he picked me up onto my feet. Shattered seem angry and attacked Cross with all his might. Horror, Killer, and Dust took Nightmare away. Nightmare begged to be with me as I was tempted to run over Ink grabbed my arm and shook his head, I could only look at him be torched as he was took back into Shattered castle. "We have to go now!" Ink said as he dragged me to a small, dark alleyway, "Whatever the HELL you do!" Ink said seriously, "DON'T MOVE..." Ink said as he ran over to help Cross. I sat down and quietly cried into my arms. I didn't know I was the sacrifice...why would Shattered want to kill me?! I did nothing wrong...?I thought that they were going to kill a random monster, not ME?! I thought. A small portal opened and came out Core Frisk, "Error...I know I shouldn't trust you...but I can't help, but help you...if you betray me...I will NEVER forgive you...UNDERSTAND?" Core Frisk said, I nodded and followed them.

Cross P.O.V

As Shattered attacked me as I evaded all of there attacks, Ink came over and distracted them with an attack. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Ink screamed, "Can you LEAVE ME ALONE?!" Shattered said as he picked up Cross with his tentacles and squeezed me, "I-Ink!" I said chocking a bit, Ink then pulled out there paint brush and started to paint the floor so random bones would come from the floor. Shattered tripped from time to time enough for them to stop squeezing me so I could breath, Ink eyes then turned red. I could tell that he was serious, Shattered then charged at him with bones behind him. Ink then quickly jumped back, and charged forward at then and pushed them on the floor for then to release me on accident. I then quickly got up before them and stood next to Ink, "...Thank you, Ink" I said, "Don't mention it!" Ink said still looking at Shattered at the floor. Ink then stomped on the floor and a bone shot out of the floor into there hand as they pointed it at Shattered. "Wait, Ink..." Shattered said. Ink and I looked in confusion, "Please...wait...it's me..." Shattered said as they started to back up slowly, the goop on them slowly started to come off to what looked like Dream. "D-...Dream?" Ink said. "It's...me! Ink it's me!" Dream said as they started to get up but stayed on the floor because they were in pain. "Dream!" Ink said putting there bone back on the floor and hugging Dream. I smiled, but realized that the tentacle on Dreams back was still there and they were slowly coming around Ink, "...Ink, maybe you should stop hugging Dream..." I said, "Why? What's wrong?" They asked, as they looked at me. "I'm what's wrong..." Dream said as they stabbed Ink in the back with there tentacle, "HAHAHA!!! YOU FOOL, YOU REALLY THOUGHT I WAS GONE?! YOU MUST BE AN IDIOT!!!" Shattered said pushing Ink on the floor, Ink was bleeding Ink on the floor unconscious as I ran over to Ink, "Are you ok?!" I said trying to wake Ink up, Shattered then picked me up with there tentacle, they took there other tentacle and pulled my arm more, I screamed in pain as more purple blood came out, "Hehehe~ You look adorable when your in pain Cross..." Shattered said smiling, "You sadist...You make me sick!" I told Shattered they laughed insanely, as they threw me on the ground, "Tell Error to never return..." Shattered told me, "Then...maybe I'll give then mercy on leaving them alone..." Shattered said as he opened a portal and left. I crawled over to Ink and put my hand on there back, "INK! ARE YOU OK?!" I screamed, they're still out cold. I can't pick them up because of my arm, soon enough Outertale Sans came over, "Are you ok?!" He asked, "No! We need to get to the Omega Timeline!" I told him and he made a portal, "Don't worry, Core is helping everyone!" Outertale Sans said as he picked up Ink as I stood up and walked with Outer.

Nightmare P.O.V

As Horror, Dust, and Killer blocked my bedroom door so I couldn't get out, I was pushing and banging as hard as I could. "LET ME OUT!!!" I screamed out, "THEN CALM DOWN!" Horror screamed. It seemed like Horror was only there, "PLEASE JUST LET ME OUT!!! I NEED TO SEE ERROR!!" I screamed as tears fell down faster and faster till everything was blurry to my eyes, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!" I heard Killer from far away, "Yeah...listen to Killer or not..." Horror said. I stopped hitting the door because my body was in pain and felt fragile. I sat in my bed and looked at the window in my room, I got up and looked out the window. It was just dark, there was no sunshine, and the clouds were black. All you could see are Nightmare Papyrus's walking around, not really doing anything. I thought about leaving though the window till a portal opened in my room, "Don't even think about it..." a voice said, I turned about and Shattered was standing there. There was Ink and purple on them, "What did you do!" I said with anger in my voice. I guessed that Horror heard Shattered voice and left but other footsteps came to the door quietly that Shattered didn't notice, "Nothing really...just stabbed Ink and almost ripped off Cross arms off...or do you mean with Error?" Shattered said smiling at me, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO ERROR!!!" I demanded, Shattered put his hands up defenseless "I did nothing, he ran away...but you know what I'll do if I see him again..right?" Shattered said I looked to the side, still angry. Shattered then used there tentacle to make me look at him, "Are you ok brother? You seemed pretty close to him over the last couple of days...unless you had- Well I don't know, feelings?" Shattered said looking me in the eyes. I didn't say anything, I just continued to stare at them with the same face. "I'm sorry if I hurt your feeling~ If it makes you feel better..." Shattered said. I knew that Shattered didn't care, "Oh also, if you do leave...and I see you with Error...I'LL KILL HIM FOR YOU...ok?" Shattered said as he teleported out of my room. I then closed the blinds and laid in my bed. "Error...I hope your ok..." I said to myself as I fell asleep.
