Amarillo's POV

As I'm driving on the road, I can't help but be distracted and with thoughts of Naomi. She's a really amazing girl but it just sucks that she allows her past to cloud her judgment about every single boy she comes encounter with. I don't care how much of baggage she has. I don't care how crazy her ex-boyfriend is, you want to play crazy? I can play crazy too just come at me or her and you'll see. I don't care what Naomi, I won't stop trying to make her mines.

She's not in this alone. She aired out her baggage, so I feel obligated to air out mine. I never told her this, but maybe tomorrow I and she can try again, I know it's something there and I know that she knows that too.

A car crashing into my bumper in the back of my car or cars honking their horns knocks me out of my thoughts.

"What the fuck?" I snap as I stick my head out of the window glaring at the person in the car behind me.

That person sticks his hand out his car window as to say "I'm sorry."

I shake my head as I stick my head back into my car.

Christian's POV

"Silly ass little boy," I say.

"This kid really thinks he more deserving of her than I am." I scoff. "Please nigga!" I chuckle. "If I can't have her no one can!"

I sit and wait until the traffic clears up and I continue to follow him for like a mile and a half before he noticed.

Amarillo's POV

I look out of my rear-view mirror and I look into the window of the driver behind me.

I see flashes as I recognize this car not only as of the car who crashed into the bumper but I saw this car at the restaurant I and Naomi had our date at. And I also recognized that this car was followed me when I dropped Naomi back off at Kayleigh's house. And this car also pulled off just moments after I watched Naomi get back in the house safely.

My eyes grow wide as I recognize that it's him. It's Naomi's crazy Ex-boyfriend Christian.

I make a hard right turn.

Christian's POV

He tried to shake me but I made the hard right turn right with him.

I smirk and wave as he sticks his head out and looks at me.

Amarillo's POV

I zoom up the road, pushing down on my gas, trying to put as much space between him and I. I zigzag around one car and more cars, I'm way past the speed limit. Surprisingly, he's keeping up. Right on my tail.

We're now the only two cars on this road.

Christian's POV

I speed up a little bit and then BOOM.

I hit his bumper.

Amarillo's POV

My body and car jerks as he hit my bumper.
A few seconds later, he hits me again but this one was much harder than the last one

"Fuck!" I yell out in frustration.

Christian's POV

I pull my car up on the side of his.

Amarillo's POV

I hit the side of his car with mines, and he falls back behind me.

I usually carry my gun in my car but I decided not today. I really wish I would've.

"Siri? Call Naomi." I say.

I jerk as he hit my car bumper again.

Siri speaks.

"Dialing Naomi," Siri says.

My phones connected to my radio so the ringing can be heard through the speakers as he hits me yet again from the behind.

....

Naomi's phone is in her purse on the pink chair in Kayleigh's room, but it's on vibrate and can't be heard due to the conversation between Naomi and Kayleigh.

Naomi's phone screen can be seen lighting up through her fluorescent color crossbody purse.
The phone screen reads...
Amarillo.
Her battery percentage also reads 1%.
Then, her phone dies.

....

Amarillo's POV

"Shit." I sigh.

"Would you like to leave Naomi a voicemail?" Says Siri.

"Ugh. Yes. Please." I say.

I can't seem to shake Christian. My car is fast, but he is faster. And with him being behind me having the upper advantage to knock me off this road at any moment, I want to tell Naomi something just in case I never get the chance to tell her.

BEEP

"Hey, Naomi. It's me. I'm currently being chased on the road by that dangerous Ex Christian you were talking about. So, if I don't show up to school tomorrow, this is why it has nothing to do with you." I say.

"And...Uhm...I can't seem to put enough distance between the two of us, so before he knocks me off this road and I get knocked off of this road..."
...

"I just want you to know how amazing and beautiful you are. And if I was to make it out of this, I wouldn't give up on you. All I would've asked is that you didn't give up on me, don't give up on yourself. You fight.  You fight and never stop fighting. I believe in you, but you have to believe in yourself. I..."

Oh man, what the hell was I thinking?

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I couldn't end the pain named Christian for you. Don't let him win." I say.

A squirrel runs out into the street, causing my tires to screech as I try to not hit the squirrel and that gave Christian the perfect opportunity to knock me off this road and possibly end me for good.

"Do you want to replay your message or send?" Siri asks.

Christian hits me HARD. Sending me crashing into the poles that separate the bridge from the woods.

I groan in pain as I hit my head on the stirring wheel multiple time's as I do full 360 turns down this bridge, crashing into a tree, which then falls on top of my car.

"Send, please." I manage to say through the pain.

"Message Sent," Siri says.

I continue to take shallow breaths.
