The Creek was a very beautiful scenery aside from the fact it's now a possible crime scene.
Instead of going over to the bridge we just watch from afar in a tree. Kelenna climbs to the highest branch to scope out the area with her Ruger 10/22 to see if she sees if there are anything or anyone suspicious lurking around in the woods and snappingly pictures with her camera while calling out what she sees.
"There is red tape around a decapitated head." She snaps her camera.
"Oh my gosh," I mumbled cringing.
"The upper half of the body rests on the right side of them with, " she clears her throat, "an eyeball carved out of its socket, missing fingers, and a bullet womb to the chest." she snaps more shots.
I swallow and then I speak.
"Are the cops heavy or no?"
"Why does that matter?" she asks curiously while snapping more pictures.
"Just answer the question."
"No, there isn't." she snaps another shot.
"Mm." I caress my hand on my chin as I think about how suspicious that is a little.
"What?" She looks over her shoulder at me.
"That's just a little odd to me," I say.
"How so?"
"Just think about it," I say to her and give her a little time to think.
"Ohhhhh." she dragged looking back into the telescope on her Ruger 10/22.
"Yeah." I smile nodding my head up and down.
"If this was real, there would be so much more cops and reporters on site because of this a brutal crime scene," I say making her shake her head and agree with me.
"And this is the first time something as brutal like this has happened." She says causing me to twist my lips and face up because she's joking right.
"Seriously?"
"Nothing like this ever happened out here, the whole town would literally be out here trying to get coverage on this." She shakes her head.
"Look further out into the trees and see if you see someone," I say.
At first, she doesn't see anything in the trees, but she then sees someone moving in the bushes but she can't quite make out who it is.
"Who is it?" I asked.
"I don't know." she humps her shoulders.
"What do you mean you don't know?" I lifted an eyebrow.
"I-I..." she peered. "Oh my Gosh." she gaped.
"What is it?" I asked.
"More like Who is it?" she corrected me.
"Who?" I smacked the side of my leg.
She turns her head around slowly, she's so dramatic! Somebody give me a number to an agent because she's the one they have been looking for.
"Who?" I yell becoming annoyed with her need for dramatic effect all the time.
"It's Alice."
"Alice who?" my pupils dilated, "Alice in the wonderland."
"No." she chuckles lightly.
"Alice Tur-"
"UnUn." I kept humming. "I need to see. I need to see with my own eyes."
"Suit yourself." She moves out of my way so that I can scope out the area.
