*Billie's POV*
I woke up in my apartment, with Matty lying next to me with his arms around my waist. We hadn't done anything, just fallen asleep listening to music in bed together. I was terrified of going any further, but at the same time...I wanted to.
"Hey, I just realised, we haven't been on a proper date yet," Matty said as he woke up, opening his eyes and kissing my bare shoulder. I wasn't topless, I had an off the shoulder loose sleep shirt on. Matty was shirtless. I nodded.
"Yeah, I know," I said. He smiled.
"Let's go on one then," he grinned, trailing his kisses up my neck, then meeting my lips. He got on top of me and planted a kiss on my lips, and I squirmed underneath him. "Matty," I groaned.
"Say you'll go out with me," he said, smiling as he planted more kisses all over my face and neck.
"I'll - go - out - with - you," I gasped as he began tickling my sides. "Get off me!" I yelled playfully, shoving him off.
"You love me though," he laughed as he stood up, stretching.
"Course," I laughed. Shit. I hadn't said I loved him technically, but I had agreed with him. Our eyes went wide. I got out of bed quickly and mumbled I was having a shower.
*Matty's POV*
Shit. Shit shit shit. I'd said that she loved me. I didn't mean to say it like that. We hadn't said we loved each other yet. I didn't mean to say it like that. Now it'll be really awkward. Shit. I've mucked it all up now. I'm going to freak her out. I've already freaked her out. I do love her, but it's too soon, I've freaked her out, Shit.
*Billie's POV*
I stood in the shower, letting the water rush over me. I can't believe how awkward that was. I practically said I loved him. Shit. Now he's going to be freaked out. I do love him, but I can't tell him yet. It's too soon.
After I got out of the shower Matty had gotten changed and I went into my room to get changed. I put on a pair of stone washed denim jeans and a black shirt. I left my hair out, it was wavy. Matty blew air out of his cheeks and said "You look hot," I laughed and said "You always say that," he smiled, putting his arms around my waist. "Because you always are," I laughed and kissed his cheek.
Matty was in black jeans and a white shirt.
"So, let's go do something," he said. I laughed as he tugged at my hands. He pulled me out of my apartment and pulled me towards the elevator.
We stood side by side with Matty's hand holding mine. I blushed. "You know, you're too cute to bear," he said, grinning. I blushed again. Shit. Stupid cheeks, stupid brain, stupidly attractive and charming Matty. Shit shit shit. "I'm not doing this intentionally," I laughed, pointing to my cheeks. "I know, you're beautiful all on your own," he said, his fingers brushing my cheek. I shivered a little. I met his gaze and bit my lip. He smiled and pulled me towards him, cupping my face and kissing me. Fireworks went off in my stomach.
As soon as the kiss had started, it had to end. The elevator dinged as it stopped to let a little old lady from the first floor on. We broke apart as she got on, grinning at us through her big glasses magnifying he eyes to give times their normal size.
"Oh - don't let me disturb you loves, carry on," she said, standing on the other side of the elevator laughing quietly to herself muttering about 'young love'. I bit my lip again as Matty laughed, apologising to her.
I grabbed Matty's hand, leading him out into the car park.
Once we got to the car park hand in hand, we got into Matty's car. "That was not awkward at all," Matty said, putting his hand on my thigh. I smiled, putting my hand on top of his.
"So where are we actually going?" I asked. He pretended to zip his lips and throw the key out the car window. I laughed.
We arrived at a park, in the city. Matty parked the car under a blossoming tree. I sighed in awe at the sight before me, in the park.
Rolling hills of lush green grass, a heap of weeping willows, green hedges with pink flowers blooming, best concrete paths lined by garden beds with purple ground-coverers, wooden park benches and a hedge maze. It was breathtaking. The sun was shining brightly, and there were a few ponds with koi fish in them, light reflecting off the ripples.
"Matty - this is - beautiful," I said breathily.
"I know, it's really nice, I come here a lot," he said.
"Come on, let's go!" I said, feeling like a little kid in a candy store. Matty laughed as I tugged at his hand.
We walked, hand in hand, through the parklands. I took a few photos of flowers, trees and people for Matty to draw. "You should set up a table and draw things for people, you'd be able to sell them." I said. Matty smiled. We walked for a bit, and after a while, Matty picked two flowers. He tucked one behind my ear and gave one to a little girl with blonde pigtails and a floral sundress. She giggled and he slipped it behind her ear. He laughed as she ran back to the swing set she was playing on with her brother.
"That was one of the most adorable things ever to occur on this planet, Matthew." I said, putting a hand on his shoulder and kissing his cheek. He smiled.
We strolled through the park a bit more, taking photos, laughing...
It was the most fun and most romantic thing I'd ever done, I think. Matty was surprising me. Despite him looking like a totally confident to the public, he was insecure, like everyone else - probably more so than most. He was charming, honest, funny, and...he made me feel beautiful.
We arrived at the hedge maze. I was ecstatic. "C'mon, Matty, let's go!" I said, pulling him by the hand towards the maze. He laughed as I tugged him along the path. I looked like such a little kid.
Once we got inside, I said "Come on, we'll split up, that way we'll find the end quicker," I said. Matty nodded. I went left, he went right. I continued along my path, I turned right when I could to get deeper into the maze. Then, when I knew I was halfway through the maze, near the centre, I knew I was lost. I took a few random turns, trying to listen out for people's shouts. I followed the tight zig zag pattern of the maze until I reached a large, open space.
I had reached the centre.
There were four exits, four directions. I didn't know which would take me to the exit. I bit my lower lip in decision. I decided to take the exit directly across from me. I ran towards it. I followed the path that turned left, before following the maze right.
I felt a pair of hands grab my waist and I nearly screamed, until I saw Matty's grinning face in front of mine. I frowned. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his waist, his hands held me up from under my thighs. He crashed his lips to mine, and I kissed back. My arms were around his neck. I heard a little kid scream "Eww! They're kissing!" so I broke apart from Matty. He laughed and swore softly. "Fucking kids, messing up my time with you," he said. I laughed.
I tugged at his hand and we found our way out of the maze together.
"I had a really nice time Matty, thank you," I said, resting my head on his shoulder as we walked back to his car. The sun was just beginning to set.
"I'm glad you liked it," he said, pulling me in for a kiss. I smiled and bit my lip as we pulled away.
"We'll come on, let's go." He said, pulling me towards his car.Hello! Okay I just need to say this chapter was kinda shitty, but it's just a bit of a filler. I just wanted to cement the Matty/Billie situation after all the Rachael/Adam stuff.
So to clear it up for you:
Matty and Billie still aren't together and it's kind of awkward.
Rachael and Adam aren't together and I don't know if they should or not.
Tyler and George are still fine, they're so cute together. :)
And poor Ross has pizza.
(Opinions? Ideas?)
Long outro. Oops.
Bye xx -Anna
