Y/N lightly knocked on the door and peeked her head in, Leilani was laying on the bed with Zach. She was taking pictures on his phone with him.

"Zach," Y/N said, "Daniel and I have to talk to Leilani alone."

Zach raised his eyebrows and she nodded, Daniel came over and held Y/N's hand.

"We can take more pictures later," Zach says. Leilani passed him the phone and he walked out. "Good luck," he whispered.

Daniel and Y/N both walked over to the bed, sitting om either side. Leilani looked at them, puzzled. They were never serious like this and it made her mind go through a million different scenarios. She was only three and already had such complex thoughts.

"Baby," Y/N says, "Daniel has to tell you something, but please let him talk. Don't interrupt him because he has to explain."

"What's wrong?" she asked, looking at Daniel.

He looked up at Y/N who nodded with a reassuring smile. He looks back down at the little girl, her face was full of worry.

Daniel sighed, "Leilani, you know how much I love you and your mommy."

The little girl nodded, "What's going on?"

"I have to leave for a little while," Daniel said, "But I'm going to come right back, I have to go for work."

"You're leaving us?" Leilani asked, not understanding.

Tears formed in her eyes and sheer panic filled Daniel.

"No!" he exclaimed, "I just have to go for a little while."

A tear rolled down the little girl's cheek, "You're leaving!"

"For a little while," Daniel said, "Then I'm going to come back and-"

"Liar!" Leilani yelled, hitting Daniel's chest.

"Leilani!" Y/N scolded, Daniel looked up to see that Y/N also had tears running down her face.

"I have to go do work," Daniel tried, "But I'll come back as soon as I can to see you."

Leilani climbed off of the bed, "You're just like my dad."

The little girl stomped out and Y/N shook her head. She crawled over and wrapped her arms around Daniel, kissing his cheek.

"I'll talk to her," she whispered.

Daniel nodded as Y/N walked out, as soon as he was alone he allowed a tear to slip down his cheek. Y/N followed her into the living room and saw Leilani was crying into Zach's chest. He looked at Y/N with concern, Jack getting up to hug Y/N.

"She'll get it," Jack whispers.

Y/N nodded and peeled herself away, walking over to Zach. She wrapped her arms around Leilani and pulled the child onto her lap.

"Listen to me," Y/N whispers, "I get that you love Daniel, I do too, but he has to go. He's coming right back, he's not leaving us."

"I'm going too," Zach said, "I have to work with Daniel."

Leilani's sorrow drained from her face, anger replacing it. She was smart for a three year old, but she didn't understand everything. She refused to look at anyone, instead she burried her face into her mother's chest.

"Me too," Jack added.

"I have to leave too," Corbyn said.

"So do I," Jonah said.

"But they're all coming back," Y/N said.

"If you want," Zach said, "We'll send you pictures and videos everyday."

Leilani looked up, "I want to talk to Daniel."

Y/N smiled a little and stood up, walking over to the room the group had let Leilani stay in. Y/N pushed the door open to see Daniel with a teddy bear on his lap, tears flowing down his cheeks. He looked up and wiped his cheeks quickly, pushing the teddy bear off his lap.

"Want me to go?" Y/N asked.

Leilani nodded, Y/N placing her on the floor. Leilani stumbled in and climbed onto the bed, Daniel helping her a little.

"Talk," she said, "I didn't let you before. Now talk."

Daniel sniffled, "My job makes me go around to see boys and girls that like my music, I go to see them because sometimes they can't come to see me."

"You're coming back?" Leilani asked.

"Of course I am," Daniel said.

"Pinky promise," Leilani demanded.

She held out her small pinky and Daniel wrapped his bigger one around it. She wiggled her thumb forward and he copied her actions. She pressed a kiss to their touching fingers and Daniel laughed a little, mimicking it.

"I love you," Daniel smiled, "I would never leave forever."

Leilani wrapped her arms around Daniel.

"I'm sorry I got mad," Leilani said, "I just got scared."

Daniel nodded, "It's alright."

Leilani curled up in his lap and Daniel held her close to him. Y/N watched as the two people who she held so near and dear sat peacefully together.

Gabbie walked up behind her and wrapped an arm around her, Y/N turned and smiled.

"That was emotional," Gabbie said, "I can already tell the sex will be mindblowing."

"Shut up," Y/N giggled, her voice nasally from crying.
