"And they are down," Daniel whispers, dancing a little.

I laugh and go over to him, wrapping my arms around him. He presses our lips together hungrily and I pull away.

"Six weeks," I whisper.

He sighs and I bite my lip, "I love you."

"I love you too," I say. I leave the room and go to the kitchen. Leilani and Jack were in there eating popsicles and I smile, "I thought I put you to bed."

"I woke up and Uncle Jack told me I could have popsicles," she giggles.

"Sorry," Jack says, "I was just—"

"It's fine," I say, "But you better head to bed soon, okay? Aunty Gabbie and Uncle Jack are taking you and Lav to the zoo."

"You and daddy aren't coming?" she asks.

"We have to go to the doctor's for the babies tomorrow," I say, "Talk about feeding and other boring stuff."

"Oh," she smiles.

"Jack, will you clean her up when she's done?"

He nods and I smile at him. I go over to the cupboard and tiptoe, opening it up. I reach for the box of crackers, jumping a little. I hear Jack chuckle and reach over me, grabbing it.

"You're so short," he snorts. A scream fills the house and a loud groan from Gabbie, then a door slams. Jack and I look at eachother before bursting into laughter.

"All right," the nurse says, jotting down the last piece of information. She smiled up at us, "The doctor should be in here soon." The nurse leaves and a few minutes later the doctor walks in.

"This must be dad!" she exclaims, "I'm I'm Christine but I go by Chris. If a nurse is in the room I go by Doctor. So Daniel, why haven't we met till now?"

She shakes Daniel's hand, "Well, uh, I was on the road when Y/N was pregnant. But I was here for the birth."

"Well let's get started," she says, putting on gloves. I cover my mouth as I yawn, I feel my eyes drooping but I shake my head and sit up.

"Babe, are you alright?" he asks.

"I'm just tired," I say.

Chris clears her throat, "It's normal to be tired but if you need you can nap."

I furrow my brows, "No, I'm alright."

"I can stay with them," Daniel says, passing me the car keys.

I shake my head, "No, I'm okay."

"Please," Chris insists.

I sigh, "Fine."

I take the car keys and walk out. I go down the elevator and into the lobby. I wave at the receptionist before exiting. I look both ways, stepping forward before a tight grasp on my wrist and someone pulling me back.
