Adelaide heart stopped. She looked at Oscar, startled. Did he mean what she thought he meant? Oscar's eyes widened. Realization had hit him. He should've never said that.
"Shit, I'm sorry, uh, I'm gonna go back to the cabin. I'm tired. Spend time with Brodie!" He called out as he walked briskly away from her back in the direction of the cabins. What the hell was that?
"Can I pick" those three words circled around in her brain, eating away at all sense and reason she had. Realizing it was freezing, she walked back to her cabin, texting Kellie on the way.

"We need to talk later!" She typed. She didn't know if Kellie would respond to her message but hoped she would come back to the cabin soon enough. She opened the door to see Brodie standing there.
"I'm not sure I can deal with those two much longer!" He complained. Adelaide stared into his eyes.
"What's wrong?" He questioned, noticing something was up.
"No, nothing! Nothings up, Kellie is in Josh's cabin and Oscar has gone to bed."
"Oh right, ok. Well do you want to watch another movie?"
"How about we go up to my room?" She suggested.
"I brought my laptop and I have Netflix!?" She was tempting him.
"Yeh that sounds good!" Brodie said with a smirk. The two told Mr Harris and Alaya that they were going to watch a movie upstairs and raced each other up the stairs and stormed through the door. Adelaide won and made sure she rubbed it in his face. She laughed as she playfully teased him. Whenever she was with Brodie she felt like she was floating on air. Like she could be completely herself. Yet those three words; "can I pick."

Brodie had enough and playfully tackled her, pushing her down onto the bed and climbed on top of her, pinning her arms down.
"I will avenge my defeat" he said in an attempted British accent and started tickling her around the waist. Adelaide squirmed attempting to throw him off but it was no use. She used all her force to roll over, forcing him down onto the bed, underneath her. They laughed but then went quiet. They looked into each other's eyes. Brodie propped himself up with his elbows and pushed a strand of Adelaide's loose hair from her face. He brushed the side of her face with his hand and dragged it down her arm.
"Your beautiful." He told her.

Downstairs Alaya and Mr Harris decided to clear up the kitchen. Alaya was over at the sink washing the dishes when he walked up behind her, pulling her by the waist into a tight, bear hug. She wrapped her arms around his and then turned around to face him. She rested her hands on his fore arms. He took out his phone and played "I found" by Amber Run. He held her hand in his and pulled her out from the sink into the middle of the kitchen, twirling her around and pulling her in tighter as they danced around to the song. He sang the lyrics to her and she sang back. "I found love where it wasn't supposed to be. Right infront of me, talk some sense to me"

They were beautiful lyrics. Alaya had never felt so happy in that moment. Mr Harris leaned in to kiss her.
"Your a good kisser sir" she joked after they kissed.
"Don't call me sir" he said, with seriousness in his eyes.
"Why not, I thought you liked it?" She said with a wink.
"No, just call me Dylan"
"Why?"
"Because sir feels wrong! It is wrong!" He said pulling away from her.
"Babe, come on. I was only messing"
"I know but...."
Alaya kissed him to shut him up. They shared a moment, it was a moment where everything became tense and full on. He leaned into her, passionately kissing her on the lips and forcing her back to the sink . He lifted her up onto the counter top. Alaya pulled him into her, grappling at his jumper in an attempt to pull it off. It all moved so quick, it was almost like they had no time to lose. Both their shirts came over their heads and were thrown onto the ground. Mr Harris placed his hand on the zipper of her jeans, looking into her eyes as he slowly zipped them down.

Adelaide had never felt butterflies in her stomach like this before. Could she possibly be falling in love with Brodie? She hesitated, but leaned forward, staring into his eyes. He was her boyfriend but in this moment, it felt like they were two rebellious teenagers who barley knew each other. She was worried he wouldn't kiss her back. Brodie put his hand around her neck and slowly pulled her into him. Their lips brushed against each other's a few times, almost as if they had never touched before. They waited for the other to make a move. The anticipation had gotten too much and Adelaide locked lips with Brodie. At first their kisses were quick and romantic, but they kept coming back for more until neither could pull away. Brodie sat up right, supporting Adelaide on his lap. His cold hands traced up the back of her shirt and along her skin. She gasped and he kissed her harder, not wanting to let go of this moment. Adelaide pulled off his hoodie and he undid the tie of her sweatpants. Brodie swiveled around so that he could now lay Adelaide down on the bed. He kissed her lips all the way down to her jaw and chest. Adelaide's heart was racing, she lifted her top over her head. Brodie lightly kissed all over her stomach. He came back up so that he could kiss her lips. He bent down but instead of kissing, their lips almost touching, their breath fanning across the others face, he whispered
"I love you Adelaide."
Adelaide looked up sweetly at Brodie. Those butterflies in her stomach, they had been there for a reason. Not only did he love her, she loved him too.
"I love you too, Brodie" she whispered. It was at that moment Adelaide wasn't scared or nervous anymore. She trusted Brodie one hundred percent.

The next morning, Adelaide woke up early to a beautiful golden hue of light shining through the window. It was very early, sunrise. She turned her head to the left to see Brodie lying next to her. She sat up, pulling the covers over her to keep her warm in the cold. She felt Brodie's hand move from under the sheets and looked over at him. He flopped his arm around her pulling her back down. He sleepily shuffled over to the window to open the shutters more. A beam of bright, glowing light shone into the room, revealing every dust particle floating through the air. It was beautiful and magical all at the same time. Brodie laid down on Adelaide, resting his head on her chest and his hands on her waist. They looked at each other and he pulled Adelaide down so that they were face to face. The feeling of warmth that radiated from Brodie soothed Adelaide. She felt at home.

The front door screeched as it opened, alerting Adelaide and Brodie. They jumped up, throwing on their shirts. Was it Oscar? Alaya? Kellie? Adelaide creeped out to the landing and leaned over the banister.
"Oscar?" She called out, unsure if it was him or not. There was no reply. She grabbed her dressing gown and wrapped it tightly around her, tip toeing down the stairs.
"Hello?" She shouted. Still no answer. She thought about it being Mr Harris but dismissed the idea, he would've gone back to the main cabins. Suddenly, the clattering of pots came from the kitchen. Brodie grabbed Adelaide by the arm pulling her back. They looked at each other before running into the kitchen, yelling out. It was Kellie.

She screamed and quickly swung around with a frying pan in her hand, almost flinging it at them out of surprise. They all jumped.
"Oh my god, KELLIE!" Adelaide gripped the granite counter top for support.
"You almost gave me a heart attack" Kellie exclaimed, gently placing down the frying pan. Brodie caught his breath,
"Where the hell have you been?" He interrogated.
"Nowhere, where the hell have you been!" She answered defensively. They raised their eyebrows at her.
"That doesn't make any sense" Adelaide told her, folding her arms across her body.
"I went out and when I came back here you were all asleep!"
"Your wearing last nights cloths"
"Maybe I like to wear my cloths more than once!" Adelaide glared at her, she wanted her to tell them the truth but wasn't going to force it out of her.
"Did you get my message?" Kellie shook her head and looked down at her phone to check.
"What are you guys doing!? It's 5am!" Oscar stumbled into the kitchen, his eyes heavy from tiredness. He looked up at Adelaide and they exchanged awkward glances before turning away again.
"I was with Josh" Kellie answered quickly. They all stared at her waiting for her to continue.
"We just talked I didn't get back here until about half an hour ago."
Adelaide grinned and then ran over to Kellie jumping up and down.
"Oh my god, KELLIE! That's so exciting!"
They hugged. Oscar looked to Brodie, confused.
"What are you doing here? I didn't hear you come in last night!"
"Oh" Brodie looked to Adelaide then to Oscar.
"That's because you were asleep when I came in, then I couldn't sleep so we watched a movie."  He answered.
Kellie knew he was lying but figured it had something to do with the text message Adelaide sent her, she would ask later.
"Where's Alaya?" She asked. They all looked around the entire house, she wasn't anywhere to be seen.
"You don't think she would've gone to the big cabin yet do you?" Adelaide asked.
"Are you kidding me it's 5 am!" Brodie exclaimed.
"Well where else would she be?" Oscar was growing worried.
"Guys calm down, she wouldn't have gone far. Maybe she is in the big cabin? They have the bean bag room- maybe she couldn't sleep and is hanging out there?" Kellie suggested.
"We'll go look, Kellie do you wanna stay here in case she comes back?" Oscar intended on finding out where she was.

Kellie agreed to the idea and sat in the living room while she waited for the others to get back. She scrolled through her contacts and dialed Alaya's phone. A familiar ringtone rang through the cabin. "Either Alaya left her phone behind or she's still here" Kellie thought. She followed the sound and vibrations coming from the phone. It was coming from the storage closet just off the kitchen. She opened the closet door, to her horror she saw Mr Harris and Alaya in there.
