(ON HOLD) Never Let Her Go (Lance x Reader )

Chapter 2

I slowly opened my eyes to see I was still in the healing pod. The pod opened making a hissing sound. I could feel myself starting to fall forward but regained my balance before I did fall. I tryed to walk but I guss I was just too tired and stumbled forward instead. I could see the paladins but I'm dead of them being in they're armor, they were in they're regular cloths. The orange haired altean was the first to notice me.

"Hey look! Its the survivor!" He said getting the other's attention.

"Glad to see you ok princess!" The brown haired boy said.

"I'm not a princess" I told Lance.

"You are to me!" He said winking. I looked away with a slight blush.

The black haired mullet boy walked up to me. "Where exactly are you from?" He asked crossing his arms. 'This one must be the emo one' I thought. "I came from the planet we were all just on" I lied. The boy nodded and walked away. I watched him walk out if the room. I looked at everyone else. "Don't mind Keith. He's not very welcoming to new people" a small sandy haired girl said walking up to me. I looked at the small figure. "You can call me Pidge! That's Lance, Hunk, Shiro, Allura, and Coran" she said pointing at the others. All the others waved at me and I waved back.

"Am I going to stand here, are you going to take me somewhere or are you going to do something to me?" I asked. They probobly already know I'm Zarkon's daughter so there's really no need to be surprised if they use me for answers or anything like that.

"I'll show you around!" Lance volunteers.

"Thanks! I'm glad that someone at least wants to show me around!" I responded walking over to Lance. Lance geabed my arm with a smile and pulled me out of the room.

~Time skip to after the tour because I'm lazy~

I was now in the kitchen with everyone else. They got me some food and had me sit at the table. "You guys are treating me too well" I told them siting at the table. "That's our goal! We always want to treat our guests well!" Hunk swidputing a plate I fort of me. There was this green space goo stuff on it. I took a bite. Once the flavor hit my tounge, I started eating like I never have before. It was all so good!

"This is amazing!" I said with a full mouth. "I'm glad!" Hunk responded.

After we all finished eating, lance decided to show me where I'm staying. He led me to an empty room. It Atlest had a dresser bed and a bathroom connected to it. "This is where you'll be staying!" He said showing me the room. I nodded in agreement. "You can do whatever you want with it. If you need anything, I'll be with the others in the main control area" he said leaving my room.

I looked around again. "Ok, time to fix this room!" I said clapping my hands together. I looked through my dresser and saw that there were a few diffrent choices in clothing. "I'll look at these later" I told myself closing the drawer. Next I walked into the bathroom to see what was in there. There were a few brown towels along with a toothbrush and thoothpast and hair brush. "They have almost everything that I need to stay here!" I said surprised. I lsft the bathroom and looked to see if there's anything else. When there wasn't, I went back to my dresser and pulled out all of the clothing to look at them. There was an outfit with black genes, a white t-shirt with black sleeves, a red longsleeved plad shirt, with black boots. Another wad a cute (F/C) dress with a flowing bottom. Another white t-shirt with green cotton shorts. The last one with a white crop top shirt, leggings, and a gray bottomless sweater to go over top.

"I might as well change" I told myself looking at the clothing I was wearing. I was wearing a simple (F/C) shirt with shorts. (If this isnt your style then you can change it just dont yell at me please ;-;)

I grabbed (your choose of clothing from the choices listed) and took off my other cloths. I put it on and thtee the dirty clothing in the hammper that was by my door. "YEET!" I shouted because I was bored. Then walked out of the bed room. I headed the direction which I thought the main control area was. When I entered the room I thought it was, it turned out it was the medical bay. "Awe come on! I can't find the place on my owne! How do you expect me to find it when ive only been around the castle once before?!" I complained to myself walking around again. I continued to aimlessly walk around the castle completely lost.

~Lance's POV~

The others and I were talking about what we were going to do with (Y/N).

"First off, we don't exactly know where she came from. Second, we need to see if she's with the galra or not" Keith told everyone.
"Yes you're right Keith, but we need to gain her trust before we do anything else" Shiro responded.

"If she is with the galra, and she works for or with Zarkon, wouldn't he have noticed by now?" Allura asked.

"I agree. We need to find out if (Y/N) is a friend or a foe" Pidge piped in.

"Don't you guys think we're taking this conversation too far? I mean we found her on a destroyed planet for quiznacks sake! We should give her some pitty!" I told everyone else.

They all just looked at me like I was crazy.

"I agree with lance" Hunk said.

"At least someone agrees with me for once!" I said glad that hunk was .on my side this time.

"Both the boys are right. We should give (Y/N) a chance! If she does work with Zarkon, she may change!" Coran told everyone.

"Then it's settled. We're going to let (Y/N) stay for a while" Shiro told everyone.

I looked over at Keith. He didn't look very happy about the decision, but he has to deal with it now. We all went out seperate ways.

I went and sat in the chair that I sit in when I help pilot the ship. I watched the stars that were on screen. That's when I heard the door behind me open. I looked and saw (Y/N). "Finaly!" I heard her say but then she looked disappointed. "Awe come on! Everyone left?!" She whined. That's when I sat up. "I'm still here!" I said. I then walked over to her.

"Did you need anything?" I asked.

"I just wanted to see if I could find you guys" she responded looking at the floor. "Looks like I was too late tho-" she cut herself off.

"Hey! I'm still here aren't I? Then that means youre not too late! Plus you found the control area on your own too which is amazing!" I praised.

"I'm not a baby you know-" she mumbled.

"I know you're not a baby. In just trying to give you positive emptiness that's all! Anyway do you want to look at the stars with me?" I eventually asked.

"I have nothing better to do so why not?" She answered. I smiled and brought (Y/N) to my chair. I sat down and put her on my lap. I thought I saw a slight blush but I brushed the thought away and gazed out into the stars. After a while I could feel (Y/N) start to fall asleep. When she did, I decided to close my eyes and let myself drift into the darkness that people call sleep.
