The last Strictly week for Dianne and Joe had been a whirlwind but now it was the Saturday, the last time they'd step foot onto the iconic Strictly floor but it wasn't the end for them. They always had a routine of cuddling in Joes dressing room before every show, Dianne helping him calm down with reassuring girlfriend kisses and snuggles.

"I really don't want to let you down.."
"Joe you never ever let me down"
"It's just you deserve the Glitterball so much..."
"But as you said,i've won something a thousand times better!"

Dianne truly meant that. When she came on Strictly for the first time in 2017 the young flame-haired Australian had no idea what was in store. She bowed out in Movie week and felt that she had to make a name for herself this year. When she first saw this floppy Wiltshire boy who had no idea that the American Smooth was actually a dance she was extremely worried but they took every week as it came and somehow ended up in the final. Not only had Dianne found a best friend but a true soulmate. This was the guy she could now go to a spill all her problems out,a guy who'd wake her up with a morning kiss and 3 slices of toast and peanut butter. She had never felt more in love in her entire existence and she had been through many different men.

"OH MY JOE! Two 39s and a 38!" Dianne embraced Joe in a massive hug as they finished all they're dances. They locked eyes with eachother before locking lips, a sign of her telling Joe how proud she was.

"It's all down to you chief"he laughed, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and rubbing her head with his knuckles before they had been called to there positions to announce the winner.

//

"And the winners of Strictly Come Dancing 2018 are..."

And the dramatic music kicked in. Dianne prayed and prayed they'd call her and Joes name. She always believed in thinking positively and after 3 great dances with zero complaints she really thought they'd be in the running. So many of the pros had told her that they both win. So many people said they'd voted for them because of how fun they were and how believable there chemistry was.

"Stacey and Kevin"

They both ran over and hugged them. Dianne was disappointed she couldn't get Joe to lift that glitterball but she was over the moon for Stacey and Kevin. Stacey had been like a big sister to her,Dianne always going to her for advice about Joe and Stacey telling Dianne all the soppy things he had said to her as they relaxed in the Star Bar. Kevin was also like a big brother to Dianne. She had known him for many years and when her Nadiya and Amy were first brought onto Strictly he was one of the first pros to show them the ropes, telling them if they needed any help that he'd be there to help them even if he didn't expect Dianne to go to him about relationship advice.

Dianne and Joe had decided to not attend the after party. They wanted normality. They wanted time they could spend being a couple and doing normal things. They sat close in the taxi and shared intimate touches and kisses, connecting eyes multiple times throughout the journey.

"I'm sorry for not getting you that Glitterball Di"
"Look,Stacey is going home holding some shiny plastic ball in her arms and i'm going back to my new home holding a cuddly soppy boy going by the name of Joe I think".

Dianne was still over the moon with Joe. She didn't care about the Glitterball in some respects, she was just so proud of him and how far he had come.

"Look Joe, we've come so far as a couple and you've come so so far as a dancer. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Mr. Soppy"
"You aren't gonna drop Mr. Soppy are you Miss. Indecisive?"
"Nope!"
"And that's why I love you Dianne Claire Buswell"
"Wait isn't it Miss Indecisive? Why can't I be Mrs Sugg?"
"Look,we shall get to that when it comes..."

Joe truly meant that. He saw a future with this crazy giggly who had not only thrown all her clothes all around his apartment but had also left her red hair dye on every white cloth possible. He didn't want her to change though. They just fit so well.

And tomorrow was a new chapter. A chapter where they could be a couple without the stress of the media. And Phillip Schofield!!
