« Hey. I thought you didn't want to talk to me at school because Hannah could see us. » he answers. He seems better than yesterday but still a little bit off.
« Yeah Well Hannah isn't here yet so I thought I could just say hi. »
He gives me a smile and gives me a peck on the cheek.
« I'll see you later okay? I have to go join my friends. » I know he's trying to act like he's fine but it's not.
« Wait Shawn. Can't you just explain what happened yesterday? »
« I was just feeling weird. »
« That's all? » I say crossing my arms.
« Yes. » he says and avoid any eye contact with me.
« No. there's something else. Something that you don't want to tell me. » I say, taking a step closer.
« Can't you just stop? I told you I was just feeling weird! » he says on a cold tone.
« Shawn I know it's more than that! Just tell me please!
« It's nothing!! » he says this time with a higher tone.
« Shawn, I'm just worried about you. You have to talk to me! Can't you just tell me?
« CANT YOU JUT LET IT GO?! » He says angrily. He almost has tears in his eyes. I don't understand why he's acting this way. I feel the tears coming to my eyes to. He seems to notice and his face soften. He lets out a sigh.
« I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. »
« What's happening here? » I turn around and see Cameron beside me. Shawn's jaw clenched.
« Mind your own business Cameron! »
« It is my business! She's my friend and your screaming after her! For no reason! You two almost don't know each other! » says Cameron.
I feel bad about that. Me and Shawn know each other, but of course he doesn't know that.
« Actually Cameron... » I try to speak but I can't let the words out.
« What? » he says looking at me.
« Like I said: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS! Stop interfering in my relationship. You already broke one! » says Shawn. His face is now all red and his hands are in fist.
« I NEVER DID THAT! » says Cameron confused.
« ROSE! REMEMBER HER? »
Cameron seems shocked but what Shawn said. I'm watching the scene trying to put the pieces together. Rose. The girl that gave him the guitar. Did Cameron stole Rose from Shawn?
« I-I... it was an accident Shawn. You know it was. I never meant it to happened. You know that. » says Cameron quietly.
