29. Fix me

" HURRY UP! What are they doing?" I scream in my house.

"Calm down honey we will get there on time!" says my mom. We are going to see Shawn play today. My sisters wanted to come too. So we're all going. The game starts in only 15 minutes and my sisters don't seem to be ready yet. I'm getting frustrated.

"We're here! We can go." says Morgan getting downstairs with Laurel.

"Thank you! Now please get in the car everybody!"

"Geez is she always like that when it involves her boyfriend?" says Morgan with a smirk. She loves making fun of me.

"Well, at least me I have a boyfriend!" I say giving her a triumph look. We all get in the car and my dad starts driving. We get to the arena and try to find Shawn's family. We find them and go join them. I sit next to Hannah who I see that is joined by Cameron. Yesterday they had their first date. Hannah told me that it was one of the best nights of her life. She even kissed him at the end of their date. They haven't officialized things yet but I'm pretty sure it will come soon.

"Hey! Sorry we're a little late!" I say to everyone.

"Hi! Don't worry the game hasn't started yet." says Hannah.

« You came with Cameron. » I whisper in her ear. She blushes and nods.

« And you came with your whole family. » she adds

« Ugh yes. They all wanted to come. I love that they want to support my boyfriend but at the same time I feel like I can't be myself. Like I can't kiss my boyfriend whenever I want and things like that. » I say and pouts.

« Yeah I get it. »

People starts cheering and I notice that the player are coming on the ice. I stand up and make the more noise I can. Shawn notices me and wave at me. I send him a kiss in the air. A player on the other team notices us. I hope I don't look like the too intense girlfriend. The player is number 2. He gets in position and goes in front of Shawn. They seem to be talking but we can't see what they're saying.

The game begins. The adverse team have the hockey puck. They make a pass and then make an other pass to number 2. Shawn interfere in the pass and push number 2. Not enough to hurt him but enough to make him lose the puck. The audience cheers louder. Shawn makes a pass to another member of his team and this one scores.

« YAYYYYY!! LETS GO!! » I scream.

Number 2 seems really made. The players get back in position. Someone try to make a pass to a player but they miss it. Shawn tries to catch it back but just as he was about to catch it I see number 2 going in his direction. He looks furious and goes really fast. My heart start beating faster. The guy doesn't seem like he wants to stop.

« SHAWN CAREFUL! » I scream but it's too late. The guy hits him really hard. Shawn was not expecting it. I see my boyfriend getting knocked out and falling on the ice. I panic. This can't be happening. I run downstairs. Shawn looks pretty hurt and doesn't seem like he's getting up. He doesn't seem to move at all.

« DO SOMETHING PLEASE! DO SOMETHING! » I scream through the tears that are falling down my cheeks. Everything is all happening so fast. The paramedics come to get Shawn and bring him on a stretcher. I run towards the entrance on the ice.

« I need to go with him. I need to go! » I say really fast to the ambulancier.

« Miss, we'll get him to the hospital. He'll be fine. His mother will go with him. »
With everything going on I haven't noticed that Karen followed me. She looks in total panic too. She gets on the ambulance with Shawn.
