25 minutes is a long or short time, depending on how you think about it. 25 minutes of watching a movie is short, seeing that movies are usually 1-2 hours long. You can usually watch an episode of the old 2000s show 'Modern Family' in 25 minutes, with three minutes to spare. 25 minutes thinking about how I know this man sitting in the driver's seat is very long, though. However, 25 minutes was not enough. All attempts of finding Toshinori in my memories all ended up with the same ending; my parents looking at me, their lifeless bodies lying on the tile floor of my childhood home. Their eyes glazed over, and their pupils dilated. The pools of rich, red blood still flowing from their wounds. Their expressions forever staying painful as any life still remaining flooded out with the blood.

"Hey, are you okay?" Toshinori's voice sounds concerned, with a slight lift in the pitch near the end of the sentence. I shake my head, an action that I do to stop images from being too invasive, and I turn towards the skeleton-man hybrid.

"I'm okay." I reassure Toshinori, I before turning my head to the window. The blur of green, brown and grey swirls outside the window, which is quite beautiful. I can't remember being in a car at all, so seeing the views of streets and parks go by so fast is amazing. The car rolls to a stop outside of an apartment block, and then slowly drives through the parking lot, finding a place to park.

"Come on!" I hear Toshinori's voice call from the other side of the car. I was sitting on the edge of my seat, my legs hanging out of the door. Parking lots had a scent to them. Petrol mixed with... Something I couldn't quite put my finger on. Slowly getting up from my seat, I take one final look at the view, and then I go to Toshinori. He's waiting by a tall shaft, one that reaches through two stories of parking lots before disappearing, from what I can -and can't- see. He presses a blue button with an arrow pointing upwards. A slit in the shaft slides open, revealing a tiny closet-like room. We walk into the room, where I see a panel of buttons with numbers and letters on them. Its starts with B1 and B2, which I can only think means 'Basement One' and 'Basement Two'. Then there are the numbers one through ten, which I think are the floor levels. Toshinori presses the number '7', and then a button with two arrows facing inwards. I jump in surprise as the doors begin to close, and I notice that Toshinori also has a white plastic bag in his hands. A button dings after two minutes of awkward silence, and the doors open.

"Okay, we're here." Toshinori walks down a hall with blue walls and wooden floors to a door that says '250'. The white door opens into Toshinori's house. It smells unfamiliar, but cosy all the same. The tanned wooden floors continue throughout the house, or what I can see of it. The walls have been painted a beige, with paintings on the walls and plants in the corners. The room I am standing in is a small entrance with a closet to the left. The hallway continues into what looks to be a living room, so I take off my shoes and put on slippers that Toshi handed me.

Walking through the hallway, I spot three other doors. There are two on my right, and one on the left. I cautiously open the one to my left. The left door opens into a room with white tiles and pale yellow walls. There are a washing machine and dryer, as well as a closet that reveals several bedsheets and pillowcases. There is another door, which leads into a bathroom. The tiles are now white and several shades of blue, with a shower in one corner. The shower has shampoo, conditioner, and other stuff, but there's nothing left in this room. Walking out of the room, I decided to explore the room closest to the doorway.

Opening it, I see a bare room with white walls. Cans of paint litter the ground, and only a bed and closet are in there.
"That's your room, Fox."
"Okami is alright." I saw, looking at my new room. I decided to explore the rest of the apartment, opening the door next to the door to my room. It opens into a small bathroom- no, it only had a toilet, so toilet-room. The tiles were white, with cream walls. On the sink, there was vanilla soap, and a towel.
