I sit up, and I immediately notice that I am in my grandfather's basement in England.
"Okami!" I hear the all too familiar voice of my grandfather exclaim. I frantically try to get the chains off of my limbs and tail.
"Where do you think that you're going?" he says, picking a knife off of the wall.
"No!" I yell, "No, no, no!" I start to sob, tears streaming down my face. "No, no. no." He ignores my pleas of mercy and starts to polish the knife.
"Shame that this will get dirty after I'm done." He says, putting the cloth down. Curling his fingers around the knife, he traces my arm with it, splitting the skin, to show lithe pink flesh underneath. The blood drips down, pooling on the dirty floor. I can't see how dirty it is, because the minimal light coming in from the door, but the stench is awful. It smelled like rotting flesh and fish.
"You see, you wouldn't be in here if your mother hadn't had you. If your father stayed with me and not that brat." He said, slamming the knife on the wall that I was chained to, narrowly missing my neck. "Where are your parents now?" He asks, turning away from me, a smirk on his face. He finally kicks me, where I am greeted with darkness.

I wake up to see the sun streaming in through the blinds. I sit up to look at my surroundings. I had fallen asleep after Aizawa talked to me, and I had a pale grey blanket on top of me. I was also still in my dirty school clothes. Birds chirped outside of the window, so I look over to the windowsill. I had broken a plant pot in my sleep, so I clean up the shards. Cutting my hand on one of the shards, I rush to the kitchen to get a bandaid. Getting a broom, as well, I use that to sweep up the smaller shards.
"Good morning, Okami," Toshi says, walking out of his room, into the living room. "How did you sleep?" He pauses in his tracks and looks at my hand. "What's that?" he asks, pointing to my hand.
"Oh, it's nothing," I say, holding it with my other hand. "I need to have a shower and get to school." I say, walking to my new room, where I grab a uniform. Taking that and a brush into the bathroom, I turn on the hot water.
Going out of the door, I remember my shoes. Putting on my black lace-ups, I pick up my tennis shoes.
"Aw, man!" I exclaim, looking through a hole in one of them. 'Bakugo does more harm than good', I think. "Oh well." Picking up my red backpack, I walk out of the door, locking it behind me.
I arrive at school early, and I go straight to 1A after changing my shoes. Sitting at my desk in the back, I notice that the only students who are as early as I am are Iida, Todoroki, and Momo. I sit at my desk, playing with my tail, trying to ignore Todoroki's vision. I hear footsteps, which I can only guess to be Todoroki's.
"Hello." He says, and so I look at him,
"Hi." I respond, still playing with my tail.
"I apologize for yesterday. I shouldn't have been so pushy." He says, bowing.
"Oh, It's okay. You weren't being pushy." I say. He nods and walks away. I go back to playing with my tail, as others start to arrive. Remembering that I have six years of catching up to do, I pull out my homework and start to do it.
After the usual lessons, All Might comes in, and takes us outside, to a giant fake city after we change into our hero outfits; My hero outfit consists of a black Unitard to assist with my mobility, and a red utility belt to store bandages as well as a few smaller weapons. Finally as to conceal my identity I also have a white fox mask that also has built in night vision.
"The situation is this: Villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere in their hideout. The heroes must try to foil their plans. To do that, the good guys have to catch the evildoers or recover the weapon. Likewise, the bad guys succeed if they protect their payload or capture the heroes. Time is limited, and we will choose the teams by drawing lots!"
"Isn't there a better way?" Iida asks,
"Think about it!" The green-haired boy, who I now know is called 'Izuku Midoriya' says, "Pros often have to team up with other heroes from other agencies on the spot, so maybe that's the reason we're seeing that here!"
"Yes, I see. Life is a random series of events. Excuse my rudeness!" Iida bows, and All Might continues.
"No sweat. Let's draw!" He says, pumping a fist in the air, and turning to the ballot box.
Since a boy named Denki Kaminari was away, I was placed on a team with Iida and Bakugo. We were trying to protect the missile from Midoriya and Uraraka. My team went into the building first, so that we could come up with a plan.
"Do you really think that Deku has a quirk?" Bakugo asks. Iida nods, but I don't know who he's talking about so I just shrug.
"Guys?" I say, and Iida looks at me. "We should make a plan. I think that Iida should go and watch for Midoriya and Uraraka, because of his speed and agility. Bakugo and I should stay and protect the weapon." Iida nods, while Bakugo just rolls his eyes, and leaves.
"Iida, I'm going to try and talk some sense into him. You stay with the missile." I run to Bakugo out of the room. "Bakugo! Your explosions will do nothing but damage to the building, and leave leeway for Uraraka to use her quirk!" I am interrupted by Bakugo swinging his arms at me. He was aiming to not hit me, but the giant gauntlets on his arms hit my nose, making it bleed.
Back in the observation room
"Did Bakugo just hit Okami?" Jiro asks,
"That's so unmanly." Kirishima says.
"Look, she's still going to keep trying!"
Okami POV
"You have to listen!" I say, exasperated, "We aren't going to win at this rate with your behaviour." I am interrupted again, but this time by him pinning me to the wall.
"You listen fleabag. If you get in my way, I will make sure that you are dead in under a minute." His eyes narrow, and I transform into a fox to get away from his grip. Nodding my head, my paws pad against the floor until I make it back to Iida. Turning around again, I silently follow Bakugo from behind, in my fox form, to not attract attention.
