Okami's P.O.V.
I sit there for hours unable to sleep, eventually I hear Toshinori go to bed but no matter how hard I try, I cannot go to sleep, not when the person who turned my whole world upside down was out there plotting his revenge.
Eventually the sun rises over the tall buildings and shines through my agape window, signalling that it is now morning. I rise after a while realizing that sitting here isn't helping anyone, so I quickly get changed and look in the mirror noticing the large bags under my eyes and my pale complection.
"I look like a walking zombie" I say and notice my droopy ears and how I can't get them to perk up
"Well this is going to be a pain" I say and walk into the kitchen
"Good morning young Okami, are you okay?" he says when he sees how pale I am
"Y-Yeah I'm fine" I say and grab my bag
"Wait what about breakfast?" he asks and I shake my head
"Sorry, I-I'm not hungry" I say and walk out the door heading towards school avoiding people which is kind of an instinct.
Once I arrive at the front gates of UA I am immediately surrounded by reporters asking loads of questions about All Might.
"Are you a student of All Mights?" one asks
"What is it like being in the presence of such a hero?" another questions
"Is he here today?" another asks but I just push past them ignoring all of their questions
"Hey has anyone told you that it's rude to ignore people?" a woman yells after me but I just shrug the comment off and continue towards classroom 1a.
Once I arrive at the familiar oak door I gently push it open and the whole class looks at me some with wide eyes while the others with mild curiosity
"Okami, are you okay?" Uraraka asks as she looks at me obviously concerned
"Yeah I'm fine" I say and sit down in my seat
"Why are you so pale?" Momo asks from next to me and I turn to her smiling gently
"I didn't sleep well last night" I say and her eyes widen
"Why?" she asks curiously and I send her a closed eye smile
"No reason, anyway any ideas on what we are doing today?" I ask avoiding the question completely
"Actually no Mr. Aizawa hasn't shown up for class yet" she says but I just point to a yellow sleeping bag that's laying on the floor and giggle slightly
"He's here just not awake" I say and shut my eyes for a moment trying to ignore the nagging need for sleep.
"Okami, this is no time for sleeping" I hear and my eyes snap open revealing a disappointed looking Iida
"S-sorry, Iida" I say simply and he nods walking back to his seat
"Okay class today you will be picking the class Reprasentitives" Mr. Aizawa says in his usual tired voice as he stands at the podium at the front of the class.
Immediately after he says it though everyone begins yelling and screaming about becoming the class rep. that is until Iida stands and suggests that we take a vote but it was very obvious that he wanted to be the class rep.
As soon as everyone had voted we counted them up and it turned out that Mydoria won by a landslide with Momo coming in second. but he was obviously not fit for the job especially with his inability to talk in front of people. I personally voted for Iida because he is very bossy and organised.
"One vote, how could this happen, but I can't argue with the system that I suggested" I hear Iida mumble
"So you voted for someone else huh" Kirishima says and I grin slightly as Iida replies and continues to mumble to himself.
-time skip-
Once the bell has gone for lunch I make my way to the roof of the building where I can look out over the whole city.
"It's nice to get a breath of fresh air" I say but then I notice something very odd a man that looks like he is disintegrating the wall of the building. Without a second thought I run down the staircase and the alarms begin to go off but I just press my ears to my head and continue running towards the principles office.
Once I reach the principles office I knock on the door only to receive no reply so I instead begin to walk towards the cafeteria. Once I arrive I notice the students slowly walking outside through the emergency exit, I quickly walk over and join the slow line of students. Trying to push the image of the villain disintegrating the UA wall out of my head.
After a while the police show up and the students are told to go back inside and make their way back to their classrooms for their next lessons. Once I am back inside the classroom I stare out the window thinking about the events that have taken place today, but just as I have begun thinking I feel a hand rest on my shoulder, I turn around only to see Momo standing there a concerned look on her face
"Are you okay Okami, you look panicked" she says sitting beside me
"Y-Yeah I'm fine just thinking" I say and play with my hands, it's a habit.
"Oh well, we were looking for you when the alarm went off but we couldn't find you, are you okay?" she asks and I nod tensing slightly
"I'm fine I was just sitting on the roof thinking" I say and turn to face the girl
"you seem to be doing that a lot lately" she says smiling
"Excuse me girls am I interrupting your conversation?" Mr Aizawa says glaring at the two of us
"N-No sir, sorry sir" I say as we turn our attention to the front of the classroom.
