V. Partners

"S-saan tayo pupunta Nakiri?" Malumanay kong tanong sakanya habang hinihila niya ako.

"Nakiri?" tanong ko ulit.

Tiningnan niya ako ng masama at nagpatuloy ulit sa paglalakad.

Binitawan niya ako ng makarating kami sa rooftop at tinulak ako nito sa pader and then nilapit niya ang mukha niya saken na para bang na wall slam ako.

"Be here after class." she said.

"B-bakit?" nanginginig na tanong ko.

"You don't need to ask why, just make sure to be here after class or else.." at naglakad na siya papalayo.

"Or else?" pahabol na tanong ko at tiningnan niya lang ako ng masama, na tila ba'y sinyales ng kamatayan ko if I ditch her.

Napaupo nalang ako sa sahig pakatapos niyang umalis sa sobrang intense ng pangyayare.

She sure is scary, may dalaw ba siya today? 

I stand up and looked at my wrist watch. 

Omg, I'm late. I need to go to the classroom immediately. 

Nang pumasok ako sa room ay nakatitig sa'kin ang adviser namin na para bang katapusan ko na, so sa sobrang takot ko ay umiwas ako ng tingin at dali daling umupo sa upuan ko sa tabi ni Nakiri.

"H-hi" pilit na pagbati ko sakanya at ni-ignore lang ako nito.

Ang sungit naman neto hmp!

"Now that all of you are here, we will start the pre-examination for selecting the class representative this school year." ani ni Ma'am.

Nang ipinapasa na ang test papers napalingon ako ki Kenji na katabi si Shun at sabay silang tumawa na parang nang-aasar, kainis.

Nag start na ang exam at lahat ng kaklase ko ay focus sa pag sagot, this is to be expected sa isang high standard na school. 

Nobody here is below average, kumbaga lahat ng naandito ay dumaan sa napakahirap na entrance examination and nobody here is slacking off, kaya nga 'di padin ako makapaniwala na naging Class Representative ako ng klase namin in my past life eh haha, talk about lucky. 

After I finished answering my exams I straighten up para umunat, ang hirap talaga yumoko ng halos isang oras. Pag tingin ko sa gilid ko ay nakita ko na nakatitig sa'kin si Nakiri, she have this very scary-cold stare na talagang manlalamig ka sa kaba kapag nagtama ang paningin niyo, so umiwas ako ng tingin. Scary!

By the way, halos lahat ng kaklase ko ay pamilyar ang mga mukha nila sakin, except kay Nakiri. Who the hell is she? I don't remember her at all, or baka 'di ko lang talaga siya nakikita noon paman. Whatever, there's no point on trying to remember the past, mas inaalala ko yung mangyayare mamaya sa rooftop after class.

After all of us finished the examination, we immediately proceed on checking the testpapers. 
We exchanged our papers with our seatmates kaya naman kaming dalawa ni Nakiri ang mismong nag check ng mga test papers namin.

Kenji said that she is exceptionally good at class, let's see what she got. 

While checking I can't keep my mouth close, I don't believe what I'm seeing. Lampas na kami sa kalahatian ng test papers at wala pa siyang na co-commit kahit isang mistake! 

After checking the exam my brain shuts down, I can't believe na na perfect niya yung pre-examination without reviews. We passed the test papers forward and the teacher announced the results minutes after.

"Girl's representative will be Ms. Nakiri Hime congratulations you did well for answering all of the test questions perfectly." masayang ani ni Ma'am.

"For boys representative, it will be Mr. Shirogane Yukio with a score of 44/50. Congratulations to you." sabi nito sa'kin na para bang 'di makapaniwala na ako yung highest sa boys grr.

"I'm expecting a lot from both of you, lead this class and make sure to be number one in all events, and I don't want to hear any issues from this class understand?" Pabirong warning nito.

"Yes, Ma'am." 

Marunong din pala magbiro 'tong babaeng 'to haha.

"From now you two are partners, consult to each other, help each other, the two of you is the face of this class. Good luck! Class dismissed." pahabol ni Ma'am at tsaka umalis.

We a-are partners?!
