"oh god..." You and Kusuo say at the same time.
You turn around to see Nendou and many other familiar faces from your class sitting at the long table beside you.

"What the actual fuck..." You say quietly. Right now you were staring at about 15 people who were facing you did and didn't recognize.
From the corner of your eye, you could see Teruhashi side-eyeing you.
"No way is that really (y/n)?!"
"She looks better than Teruhashi!"
"I don't know about that..." you hear a few guys from your class talk out loud causing Teruhashi to glare at you even harder.
"What are you waiting for? I saved you two a spot right beside me!" Nendo says before slapping your backs. You winced in pain a little and took a few deep breaths attempting to calm down.
Kusuo gets up and helps you from the table. When you stand up the whispers get even louder.
You look at the dresses of the other girls in your class and realized how overdressed you were for a school function. (To be fair this was supposed to be your date night) Kusuo walks over the table with the rest of "the gang" and sits down in an empty chair. Before you could sit next to him Nendou plops down leaving you to sit down in the chair beside Nendo.
Nendo pulls you to close. "I'm so glad Teruhashi invited the class to dinner especially at a restaurant this fancy!"
You and Kusuo both furrow your brows at this. And look at Teruhashi.
"I-It really was nothing." She said smiling and blushing causing the guys to go crazy.
"It's all free anyways thanks to me." She thinks.
You wanted to hate her right now but couldn't. You had to give her props for using her charms to get a free meal for the class, but the Teruhashi you knew wouldn't do this unless it benefited her somehow.
"Excuse me, I have to go to the ladies room." She says.
Teruhashi gets up from the table and bows to excuse herself before walking out of the room.
As soon as she is unable to be seen you excuse yourself and follow after her.
"Where are you going?" Kusuo asks softly grabbing your wrist.
"Uh...to the bathroom?" You say not very convincing.
"Hurry back." He says smiling slightly.
When you get to the bathroom you see Teruhashi entering. You walk a bit faster to catch up to her.
When you get there, surprising it was empty except for Teruhashi of course. The bathroom was lit very dimly making it easier for you to skip in unnoticed.
"Why does she have to ruin everything?!" She shouts to herself.
"Does She even realize how hard it was for me to get someone to hack into his phone just so I could see his search history (oh boy)?!"
"Of course when I saw that he made a reservation here I couldn't just show up and join him, people would think that we're dating and poor Saiki would be attacked by all of my admirers for being with me."
"That's illegal...." You think in your head.
"I had to invite everyone to make it look more normal and while everyone was having a good time leeching off of me I'd slip away with Saiki."
"Why did he have to come here with that skank?!"
You were personally offended now but kept quiet.
"She even tried to put dress me!" She scoffs. "I clearly look way better than her and yet Saiki didn't look at me once."
You weren't going to lie. Teruhashi looked absolutely stunning in her dress.

But it took more than just a beautiful face and gown to impress a guy. When two people love each other it won't matter what they wear or how they look (to an extent). Love is about having a connection with your counterpart and Teruhashi just didn't have it. She was too self-absorbed to realize that she only cared about herself. And you were tired of listening to her "maniacal" plan to get Kusuo to herself.
"Wow..." you start.
Teruhashi turns around fast. She couldn't tell who it was at first because of the dim lighting.
"Look who's true colors came out today." You continue.
"You..." Teruhashi says after realizing who it was.
"She's heard too much..." Teruhashi thinks catching you off guard a little.
"You're going to pay for this!!" She shouts before lunging herself at you.
