The Truth?

Kusuo sighed watching you teleport away. He was disappointed because the day he had planned out was not going to plan at all. First, his date was ruined by his whole class showing up for some event he never even heard about, and then Teruhashi tried to murder his girlfriend in the bathroom.

To make things even better, right as he was about to fully have intercourse for the first time, his mother had to conveniently knock on the door right as things were getting hot.

Unsatisfied with the ending of the day, Kusuo decided not to give up so easily and looked for a reason to go to your house.

He then remembered that you never really put your shirt back on before leaving and decided to kindly return it to you along with other things. The truth was that he had a bad feeling not too long after you had left and he wanted to check up on you to see if you were alright.

He teleported to your living room noticing that the front door was cracked open. His gut feeling got worse and he quickly shut and locked the door before teleporting to your bedroom to see if everything was alright (and to return your shirt).

Kusuo teleported behind you saying how you had forgotten your shirt but paused mid-sentence.

There was a familiar aura standing across from you, his half-naked girlfriend.

Without a second to spare Kusuo forced you behind him and pressed your shirt against your chest telling you to quickly put it on.

"Why are you here?" Kusuo asks in a tone you had never heard before (and frankly never wanted to hear again). Upon further inspection his intuition was right, and he was now standing face to face with his brother.

He presses Kusuke against the wall using his telekinesis and begins to slowly strangle him.

"Don't make me ask again." Kusuo says in a voice so calm and low that it was very scary.

"Oh, my baby brother Kusuo to which I adore so much." Kusuke giggles.

"Tell me, NOW!" Kusuo says getting livid.

"This has nothing to do with you, (Y/N) wants me here isn't that right?" He smiles looking at you.

"Don't fuck around with me, what do you want with her?!" Kusuo shouts.

This was so out of character for him. Even though he was protecting you from his twisted brother, you felt terrible because none of this would have ever happened if you wouldn't have come here. You knew it wasn't your fault that you were here, and that Kusuke had something to do with it, but you still could help but feel guilty about everything that's happened so far.

You decided to interact with Kusuo knowing that the plot would be altered, you knew that coming here shouldn't even be physically possible, you knew that you shouldn't have started dating Kusuo even though you desperately needed him, you knew. And yet you still went down this path knowing that things most likely weren't going to change for the better.

"She's standing right there, ask her if she wants you here right now." He says smugly.

"Shut up and leave her out of this." Kusuo says physically grabbing his brother by the neck now.

Even though you wanted to stay with Kusuo here, if things were changing this badly then you really needed answers before things got worse and Kusuke was the only key to finding out the truth.

"Kusuo, that's enough." You say softly.

"What did you say?..." he asks you shocked.

You felt terrible after all the trouble he went through (that you were grateful for) to defend you.

"I've been meaning to talk with Kusuke for a while now, and this doesn't involve you." You say looking away. You couldn't face him, not saying these words that you knew were hurting him.

Kusuo senses your feelings and dropped his brother who immediately gasped for air. He was a bit hurt by you taking Kusuke's side but trusted you more than anyone else in the world and knew that you could teleport away if anything bad happened.

"I'll be back in thirty minutes." He says before teleporting off.

"So where were we?" Kusuke asks gathering his composure.

__________

Kusuke told you the truth (parts of it and not really the whole thing). He told you how he was working on a robot that surpassed his brother's abilities and was also self-aware so he could finally beat him at something. When he finally turned the robot on things did not go as planned and the 'brain' of this robot must have opened a portal to another dimension and took the consciousness of a teenaged girl his brother's age and placed it in the vessel. Kusuke admitted that you weren't specifically targeted, in fact, he was planning on finding someone who didn't know anything about this dimension at all so he could easily control their mind to create the perfect girl for his dear baby brother.

This explained why Kusuo couldn't see through you, there were no real organs to actually look at. Your only purpose for being here was to get close enough to Kusuo to lower his defense and weaken him. The more physical you were with Kusuo, the weaker he became, and Kusuke had hoped to weaken Kusuo enough to kill him theoretically, but your mind was too strong to alter completely and things always ended before you could be around Kusuo enough to completely neutralize his powers.

"When will I go back home?" You ask him.

"Whoever my experiment here is a success." He responds.

"And when will that be?" You ask nervously.

"Only time can tell." He replies.

You quickly wrapped up your questions not wanting to waste any time away from Kusuo. Once Kusuke made his way out of your house you teleported over to Kusuo's place in hopes of apologizing for telling him to leave. You knew it was selfish to keep this information from him but you were scared that he'd no longer want to be around you if he found out the truth about you and why being around you made him so different than his usual self.

You weren't too sure if the robot thing was true or not (seeing as you still got your period and 100% free will) but it scared you nonetheless.

After Kusuke left, you still couldn't help but wonder what made him decide to tell you all of this, and what was he planning.
