The beach is rather busy as the crew usher about - loading a minimal amount of food into one of the long boats. I approach one of the baskets that hasn't been thrown in yet to see nothing of importance - the food practically non-existent. Groaning, I hear one of the crew members explaining to Caspian why we have such little - after all, it is volcanic. Sighing, I make my way closer to the long boats - sending Reepicheap a smile as I do. Beside me, however, I hear Lucy huffing in confusion - my eyes drifting toward her to see the girl gazing around the crew with furrowed eyebrows.
"Where's Eustace?"
Shrugging softly, I too look around for the boy only to find him nowhere - his frustrating face seeming to have disappeared among the crew. Out of the corner of my eye I notice Reepicheap popping up from the long boat with a scowl on his face - one paw placed on his hip in an exasperated manner.
"I believe he is out not helping us load the boats."
Snorting at his dramatic response, I hear Lucy calling out his name as I help pack the last few baskets into the one long boat. However, there is no reply which is strangely odd - although, I'm not all that surprised, after all he does like to annoy us at the worst possible times.
"Edmund, I've got a bad feeling."
Lucy mutters, my gaze drifting to the siblings just as Edmund rolls his eyes - a few choice words slipping his mouth before sighing.
"I'll go find him."
Just as he turns to leave, Caspian yells out for Edmund to stop - saying he'll go with, which causes me to gulp. While yes they aren't under the evil spell anymore, there could still possibly some awkward tension between them. I watch with wide eyes as Caspian hands Lucy Lord Restimar's sword before rushing to catch up with Edmund - the two leaving the beach at a fast pace.
"They're not going to get into another argument, are they?"
Lucy doesn't say anything, but she also has a worried glint in her eyes that only makes my worry increase.

Making my way toward the wheel of the ship, I send Drinian a small smile as he prepares to take off - as soon as Edmund and Caspian return with Eustace in tow. Suddenly, I'm engulfed in a hug by Gael - the young girl babbling on about her boredom on board while the rest of us explored the island. Smiling fondly at the young, I continue to let her talk as I lean against the edge of the ship - peering across the water and toward the island in hopes of seeing Edmund and Caspian return. However, a loud sound echoes throughout the air - sounding awfully like a roar, which sends confusion through my body. I hear Gael slowly trailing off as I gaze over my shoulder toward Drinian - hoping the captain could give me an answer, only I am cut off by Lucy asking the question playing on my mind.
"What was that?"
The captain doesn't answer but instead slowly steps away from the wheel - his eyes never leaving the island in front of us. Furrowing my eyebrows together, I glance back at the island only to gasp in slight panic - fire erupting in a few different places, rising high into the air. Gulping, I hear Gael asking excitedly if it is the volcano finally erupting but as I gaze toward the captain once again, he is shaking his head with something glazing over his eyes.
"Oh no, that's no volcano."
And just like that he begins marching down the steps to the main deck - barking orders at the crew, not caring if they are already busy unpacking the few rations they found on land. I can feel my heartbeat increasing as panic seeps onto the boat - particularly as Drinian turns toward me with a sincere look on his face.
