Sirens are known for their beautiful, soothing voices. These voices had led to the death of many voyagers and sailors who have been enthralled to those voices, singing them a drowning serenade.
Being the son of the CEO of a known company of fisheries, Hajime Iwaizumi had made an oath to himself not to fall for these voices as he goes out to sea, no matter how calming or tranquil they were.
Tooru Oikawa was a siren, who was blessed with a not-so-alluring voice. But nonetheless, he continues to sing out to sea as if the apocalypse was tomorrow.
Oikawa was singing that night, when a fancy boat came to view. He was determined to drown all the people inside the boat with his voice.
Nearing the deck, he was mesmerised to see the most beautiful human he had ever laid his eyes on. From that moment, even though Iwaizumi was not singing him a serenade, Oikawa most certainly knew he was the one drowning.
