"Shhhh baby. " mama try's to coo me

I just kept crying

"It's ok" she says

"But it's not mama." I say sitting up. "how he do that to me? I loved him mama. I really did. I was everything. at least that's what I thought? Why doesn't he love me? I ask

"I do love you Joslin." I hear him say

I looked up at him. standing by the door way.

"I do and I did and I always will. I didn't cheat on you because you weren't enough, I cheated on you because I wanted to live my life and be young. but I realized that I can be young and be with you.this life I'm living is not easy it's hard being in a relationship when your never home and you always have women throwing themselves at you.i would never intentionally hurt you. I love you too much for that. I just needed to think and I have thought. and I love you Joslin. and I want you . and I want you to be the mother of all my kids and the woman I marry and the person by my side till death do us part. I want you and Mel back home. I want my family back. I want you Joslin Marie Hill. and I will chase and beg you forever If I have to for you to be mine." He walked over to me.and got on his knees"just please baby. come home." he said begging me with tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry august but no. I won't let you hurt me again with another lie." I say

"Baby. he's trying to talk to you." Mama chimes in

"Your just saying that because that's your son. I can't be played mama, not again." I say

"I understand exactlly what you mean baby, but be smart with your decision ." She said

"I don't know if I'm being smart or not but I have a meeting to go in the morning and I do not wanna think about you. so august please let me cry and sob and do whatever I gotta do to get over you cuz baby I'm sorry I just don't believe you." I say walking to the room Mel's in.

"She can stay over. you need some time to yourself." Mama said

"Thanks mama. good night yall"

"Love you joslin" mama said.

"Love you too mama" said turning around to see august still on his knees with his head in his hands.

I started to walk towards him. but I knew that I wouldn't ever get over him that way.

I walked out the door and drove home and plopped n the bed and instantly feel asleep.

THE NEXT MORNING

I woke up and realized I was in the same clothes I was I last night. I hopped out the bed and jumped in the shower and washed my body and face. I got out and did my hygiene routine and got dressed in a floral crop top with a black high waited ankle long skirt with black toms. my hair was wavy with a gypsy headpiece. after I got dressed I walked out the house . I called mama.

"Hey. " I said

"Hey she won't eat"

"Did you make her fav?"

"Yea "

"Put sugar and salt on the berries?"

"No"

"Do it" I say laughing

"K she's eating"

"Good "
