Living room

August POV

When the food get done we all sit in the living room. Joslin is getting along with everybody just fine. like old times and Mel is adapting to the NOLA life and stuff she's always laughing at how we pronounce stuff.

"So what's up with yo carreer aug?" Kalvin asked.

"Ummm.everything really. I'm going on tour with usher in a few weeks and I got to finish up my tour and a few extra shows to slide in., And a whole bunch of stuff." I say

"Usher?" Ma asked

"Yea ma I know you love usher. don't worry you will be there."

"Yea cuz you know I have to see my man!" She says dancing in her seat.

We all laugh at her

"So when does it start?" kalvin asked

"November." I say

"you got like a whole month and some change to prepare. you think that's enough time?" Ra'shae asks

"Should be." I say

"Well happy for you man. glad you made it out." Casey says dapping me up

"But before all that happens I gotta move my girls back to LA and into my new house." I say smiling at Mel

"I'm living with you?" Mel asked

"Yea u are" I say putting her in my lap

"Is mommy coming?" She asked

"Yes u both are" I say smiling at her

"Hey mommy? I thought you and daddy grew apart?" She says looking at Joslin.

Joslin snaps her head up.

"That's just what I thought baby.but we are on good terms" she says

"Are y'all forever this time? " she asked

"No promises but we will try." I say

"Ok." she say smiling.

"Let me holla at you mel" I say taking her into the kitchen

I put her on the counter.

"Now what is it that I hear about not talking to your mother?" I asked

"I just was mad" she says

"Why?" I asked

"Cuz she lied."she says

"It wasn't t her fault. it was mine. you should be mad at me not her." I say

"Ok,im sorry" she says

"Tell that to your mom. You hurt her feelings Mel. she cried"i say

"Alright daddy" she says

"Come on" I say getting her off the counter

She walks to the room and gets in front of Joslin

"I'm sorry mommy. I don't mean to make you cry. I love you and I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." she says

"Its alright baby" Joslin says hugging her.

She sits in between us.

"Hey Mel u wanna see my show in New York in two weeks? "I ask her

"Yes daddy" she says hugging me extra tight.

"Ok u trying to kill me?" I ask

"No daddy" she laughs.

"So when are y'all leaving? " Ra shae asked

Joslin looked at me

"Ummm maybe a week or so.so they can pack" I say

"Well I know y'all gotta a lot of making up to do and packing so we'll see you before you go."

"No we can stay" She say assuring them

"No bae,they right we got making up to do" he says smiling

"NOOOO, we have packing to do" She say

"Ouch" kalvin says

"Shut up" I say

"Mommy,im tired" Mel says

"Ok we are leaving then" Joslin says standing up picking up Mel.

"Ok bye familia"i say

"Bye " they say

We walk out and we go home. Joslin took her shower and put on a sweatshirt and some shorts and put her hair in a messy bun and crawled into bed.

"Umm? Who's gonna wash munchkin up and stuff?" He asked

"You" she says snuggling in the sheets

"U lucky I love her and you." he says

"You would of done it anyway" she says

"Wateva" I say walking out the room.

I go and give Mel a shower and tuck her in bed.

"Daddy,I love you." she says

"I love you more." I say

"Impossible"

"Possible." I say kissing her forehead. tickling her and I put the night light on.

"Goodnight sweetheart" I say

"Goodnight daddy" she says

I close the door.i open it back up.

"I really do love you mel" I say

"I really,really,really love you too daddy gosh" she say laughing

I laugh

I walk out the room.

I go to Joslin's room and get in the shower.after I get out I put on a t-shirt and some boxers and got in bed with Joslin.

"Mhmmm" she hums in her sleep.

"Wassup baby" I say kissing her shoulders

"Nothing at all" she says

"Joslin" I say

..

"Joslin" I say kissing her neck

.....

"Baby"I say kissing her cheek

"Here,here.is this what you want" she says straddling me

"Yes it is" I say looking up at her

"Too bad august" she says getting off me

"What now" I say

"Your not touching me till your tested" she says

"Tested for what?" I asked

"Std" she says sitting up

I sit up

"What's really wrong?" I ask

She looks down

"What babe" I ask

"Did you sleep with her? Or anyone while I was gone?" I ask

"No,jo I didn't "

"Then why was she in lingerie?" She asked looking at me with teary eyes.

"She just did a couple favors that's it." I say

"In lingerie? Were you planning to?" She asked

"No. I wasn't. but I don't know what would of happened if you didn't come home tho" I say being honest

"Great"she says looking down

"But we gotta move past that." I say

"I know I'm going to." she says laying back down

"I'm really sorry jo. it will never happen again." I say laying close to her kissing her cheek.

"I love you august" she says turning to face me. With wet tears on her face.

"I love you too" I say kissing her deeply

Them we fell asleep forehead to forehead.
