August POV

So joslins family is coming over today and I'm excited but I'm not. I mean I didn't want to have to slap a hoe but that's a different story for another day. but this morning Joslin apologized to Mel and is starting to actually act as if we are together again. I mean I'm cool but it's not the same. I feel some effort but love just ain't the word. but anyway as Jo went the store with mel. they invited me but I knew her family would be over any minute and I wanted them to bond. so anyways ima take another shower.

20minutes later

I got out the shower and did my huge nine routine and put on my clothes. And fix up the living room. I sat on the couch and turned on tv to football since today is Sunday. Then the door rang

I got up and opened door to Joslin's family.

"August" Jannette smiled with food in her hands.( Jo's mom )

"You didn't have to bring food mrs. hill" I say smiling hugging her taking the food out of her hands.

"You know I did" she laughed

I steeped aside and let everyone in.Jayla looked at me and winked. I rolled my eyes. I put the food down and greeted everyone.

"Hey Mr.hill" I say holding my hand out

"Hello august" (Joseph Sr ) Mr.Hill says shaking my hand smiling

I ain't gon lie I was nervous as hell seeing him. I know how people get over their daughters and I know he probably hates me over what I did to her.

"No hard feelings man" he says patting my back

"That's wassup cuz a nigga was sweatin a bit" I say laughing

"No need my brotha" he says

"Wassap!" I say dapping Joseph laughing

"What it do my nigga" he says dapping me up.

"Nothing man just trying to help y'all sister" I say sighing

"She'll be aight she strong man don't worry" he says

"I know man. I know" I say

"Why look at lil august growing up" jasmine says smiling

Jasmine is beautiful. I always had a tiny crush on her

"Hello beautiful"i say smiling hugging her

"Thank you august" she says

"How are the kids?" I asked

"They are fine,living the Hawaiian life." She smiles

Jasmines husband is Hawaiian and they decided to moved back to his native area a few years ago.

"Didn't bring them to LA?" I asked

"No, I can't stay long. I love my sister and I wanna be there for her but I have mommy duties to take care of." She says

Her kids are twins and they are eight. yea she's pretty old but she doesn't look over 21. she in her mid thirties.

"Hey auggie" jayla says smiling extra hard

"Wassup" I say dryly

"Don't be like that" she says pouting

"Stop jay, you look THRISTY as hell" Joseph says

"I'm just claiming what's mine" she says rolling her eyes.

"He ain't yours sweetheart" mr. hill says

"Whatever daddy" she says sitting down in the single love seat.

"Well y'all make y'all selfs at home " I say
