In which hes in love with her but she has a boyfriend

Stass knew what she was doing was wrong, it was wrong in so many ways but she was confused she loved Jacob but edwin made her feel things Jacob hasn't made her feel in years, she got butterflies when she thought of him, her palms got sweaty whenever he was within five feet of her and her heart beat faster every time he touched her. But she could never be with him outside of their late night hookups and he knew that but it never stopped him from voicing his opinion on that fact of their "relationship" if you could call it that.

They laid in bed, her head on his chest and him running his fingers up and down her back, they laid in silence not wanting to discuss the elephant in the room, this would be the last time she would be with him.

"Edwin" she mumbled lips grazing his chest as he shifted the hand on her back no longer there, he didn't reply and she sighed lifting up from him and looking him in his face, she could see the pain in his eyes and she felt bad it was never her intention to hurt him, she thought they had an agreement.

"Don't" he said, he wasn't ready for reality to settle back in, he just wanted to live in bliss for a few more minutes before everything was wiped from underneath him. When stass originally arrived edwin was planning to finally admit to her that he had fallen in love with her but he opened the door to a teary eyed stass who rushed in and began ranting about how Jacob her boyfriend had just proposed and about how she had said yes

"You said what?" Edwin yelled frustration at their situation immediately weeping through as he felt his heart beginning to break in a million pieces

"I said yes edwin, I love him and he loves Me"

"And what about me? Huh what about what I'm feeling!" edwin was ready to punch a wall. He loved this girl and she just agreed to marry another man.

"I came by to say this is the last time, our last time seeing each other, we agreed at the beginning of this that catching feelings was not a part of the deal it was only sex." she could feel her heart breaking as she said those words to him, it had stopped being about sex months ago when instead of immediately leaving after she stayed cuddled up with him, watching animal planet and telling each other lame jokes, it stopped being about sex when they began texting each other outside of what time was best to hookup.

"Just one more time then" Edwin propositioned "can I have you one last time"

and that's how they ended up here, her starring down at him with pity as he starred back up at her with hurt and disappointment.

"I'm sorry" she said and she really was, she never meant for it to get this far "you have to believe me ed I never meant to hurt you"

"Where does Jacob think you are right now?" That question caused her to halt, she moved off the bed to stand up and she just shook her head at him "does he know you're here with me? Does he know you've been with me almost every night since since April? Where do you tell him you're going stass?"

"SHUTUP"  she yelled, "you're in just as much of a wrong here as I am"

"I'm not the one with a boyfriend, well fiancé now am I?" He knew what he was doing was wrong but she s didn't feel guilty a month ago, she didn't feel guilty last week and she damn sure wasn't feeling guilty last night.

"But you're the employee sleeping with your bosses fiancé so tell me how you're any better" she snapped
"I'm leaving, lose my number and enjoy the rest of your life edwin" she slipped on her heels and grabbed her purse and keys and left.

Edwin was left alone with his thoughts, the woman he loved was marrying his boss and she was now officially gone and their last moments together were ruined by him being angry. He fucked up, the entire situation is fucked up.
