I hear the buzz of the crowd behind me and feel hands all around me but I couldn't focus. It was all in a haze. All I could see was hawk laying on the mat in front of me holding his ribs.
I couldn't help but feel a little bad but when my eyes met his all guilt washed away, John Krease. The man who ruined our dojo, and turned some of my friends against me. I snapped out of my daze when Hawk got up. He stood right in front of me with a hard look on his face. I look behind him to see Tory stepping on the mat with a look I couldn't determine. Tory and I always had this silence tension, everyone knew I loved her but her.
I of course never had the balls to tell her, I turn my attention back to Hawk and sighed. He was still my friend, I remember the first day I met him. I couldn't stand the thought of us being pinned against them anymore. I stick my hand out for him to take, he looks down at it and hesitates. If he doesn't take it I'll know not to fight for our friendship, our dojo. After what feels like an eternity his hand meets mine in a hard shake.
A smile spreads across my face and I pull him into a hug. I could hear krease fumbling from over here. When we pull away I look back at everyone from Miyagi-do, they know what I'm about to do. Hawk and me walk over to cobra kai arms slung across each other's shoulders. We stopped in front of Tory I looked into her beautiful light honey brown eyes. "It doesn't have to be like this, there's a better way" I whisper to her. He looks down but nods her head "will they take us" "of course"
She looks up at me and smiles joining hawk by my side. I look over that the other student who stares back at us in confusion and anger "I know you guys think Miyagi-do is the enemy, but that's not the truth. I know you think Miyagi-do is weak, but before are dojo was corrupted, sensei told us something. There is a difference between weakness and honer. Cobra Kai no long has honer. What happened to Miguel, it was an accident. Join us, and learn true karate." I finish my little speech and lock eyes with krease,
"You will be welcomed with opened arms" I hear someone say behind me. I turn slightly to see Daniel and Johnny standing side by side in Miyagi-do gees. I look back at them and see Aisha step onto the mat and over to us "I'm sorry, for everything" she ushers before walking to stand by hawk. One by one all the students walk over to us leaving krease alone on the sideline. "You can't do this" he grunted our clenching his hands into fists "we already did," Johnny says before we all walk away.
We all sit in the outside training area of Miyagi-do around a campfire roast s' mores and all that. Everyone talking and laughing, becoming friends again. I'm in the middle of Miguel, Demetri, Eli, and me. We're all talking about the new doctor in the newest issue of Dr. Who and apparently, she's pretty kick ass. I look over to see Tory and Sam sitting by each other Tory holding the gram cracker so Sam can put her marshmallow on it. I feel the smile on my face widen at the sight. Seeing her like this, it warms my heart to no extent.
She looks up from the gram cracker over to me and we lock eyes. She sends me a little wave and I can see her cheeks turn a little red. "So you and Tory hu?" I look over at Eli "that obvious" Miguel pats my back "oh you have no idea. Go talk to her, look sams even leaving nows your chance bro" I look back over at them to see Sam getting ushered away by her dad. I let out a nervous sigh and get up "I got this" I kept mumbling to my self but when I get in front of her I go blank.
She looks up at me and smiles lightly "can I help you" she said joking like "want a s'mores" I mentally kick myself "some more what" I sit down and grab sams snore stick which already has a marshmallow on it "no no no a s'more" I said gesturing to the stick "I haven't had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothing" I chuckle lightly at her antics "your killin' me Small's" I exclaimed "ok first you take the gram, you stick the chocolate on the gram. Then you roast the mallow when the mallows flaming you stick it on the chocolate and cover it with the other end. Finally your stuff" I look down at my perfectly made s' more than back up at her.
We both bust out laughing and she takes the s' more from my hands. She takes a bit but some get stuck on her lip "mmhm, these are really good" I smile lovingly at her "you've got a little" I gestured to her lip but she just frowned in confusion. I lick my thumb and hold it to her lips. I lightly whip it away looking into her eyes. She's perfect, I thought to myself. Nows my chance, I've gotta tell her I love her. But right as I open my mouth Daniel walk out and yells "everyone in the training area, we've got a surprise"
We all whisper to each other as we walk in and find our seats on the ground. I sit next to Tory and the other ex Cobra Kai members. Soon both Daniel and Johnny walk and stand in front of us. "in honor of the joining of our dojos, we thought it would be a nice surprise to take a little trip down memory lane" Daniel said looking over at Johnny at the end, Johnny smiles lightly at him "so, together we have made a slideshow for you guys. Hope you enjoy" Johnny added.
They walk off the platform and behind us to a projector. "if this is some cheesy montage I will dropkick someone in the throat" Tory whispers in my ear. I let out a little chuckle and look over at her, she's already looking at me smiling. Gosh, she's beautiful, her golden brown hair then slowly fades to a blonde. Her diamond-like brown honey eyes, her perfect figure, her wonderful personality. She's every guy's dream.
"you ok? Your staring" she says bring me out of thought and only then did I realize I have been staring at her the whole time. "yeah, sorry. It's just your so beautiful" I trail off. She chuckles and looks down, light shades of red covering her olive skin. "Tory I've been meaning to tell you somethin-" she cut me off by hitting my shoulder "look its starting" I sigh and avert my attention to the front of the room.
After about 10 minutes in I feel something on my hand, I look down to see Tory's hand slightly over mine. I glance up at her to see her just watching the slide but a sly smile was prompt on her face. I let out a huff of air and interlock our fingers. She turns her head to look at me then looks back. When it was finally over, we all clap and sheer. After that, we all walk out of the training area and start to head home. Tory and I walk side by side, hand in hand. "Hey! Jack" I hear Miguel yell from behind me.
We come to a stop to wait for him to catch up to us. Once he gets there he leans against me huffing and puffing for air. "I'm..... Go... To be... With Eli... Tonight" he breathed out finally. I pat his back and laugh "ok, mom's working a night shift right" he nodes catching his breath "and Nans with a friend tonight, something about her granddaughters quincea" I thank him and he walks back over to Eli. "well looks like we got the place all to our self" tory said leaning against me. "tory, I've been meaning to tell you this for a while and I've just never known how to tell you-" I was cut off by a pair of lips. Soft lips, Tory pulled me closer but me being me it took me a minute to process what was happening and kiss back.
But once I did, it felt like being lips was made for each other. I wrap my arms around her waist, her hands find the way around my neck and play my hair. We pulled away resting our foreheads against each other, " I know, I love you too" have finally breathed out after a moment of silence. "good, because I was gonna say. Mixed signals" she laughed. "come on, let's get home. I want to see what else that mouth can do"
Might do a part 2 with a little more detail in the bedroom. Idk let me know.
