HALEN'S POV

_______________

Me and another guard were Stationed at the small unstable house were a murderer used to live. He is still wanted, but I guess the council has started to give up on looking for him considering that there used to be twelve guards stationed here and now there is only me and this creep who keeps looking at me. It's getting really weird. He even licks his lips once in a while. It's probably because I am an elvish woman. Human males find elvish women more attractive than their own for some reason. I don't understand why. After a few hours of standing around and doing nothing,  a man approached us wearing a red crown. As he got closer I recognized him.  He was the man who used  to live here! He was the one who we were supposed to arrest if we saw him! Me and the other guard drew our swords and circled him. We were still cautious and kept our distance. "You can either submit and go to jail, or die trying to resist arrest!" I yelled. "I'm afraid I won't be doing either of those things!" Replied the man in the crown. The amount of confidence in his voice was quite intimidating. "This is your last chance! Either submit to the law or die!" I yelled.  The man laughed in response. Suddenly, my sword flew out of my hand and towards the man. He caught it with ease. Then, the same thing happened to the other guard. This man was now duel wielding both of our swords! That was impossible. How did our swords simply just float through the air into his possession! What the fuck was going on! "I am going to let you two live as long as you let me grab a few of my belongings from my house without causing me any trouble." He demanded. Niether me nor the other guard objected. The man in the crown then walked into his house and left wearing a backpack full of emeralds. I had to report to the council exaclty what had just happened. This man was dangerous.
