"Okay, I'm confused." The first girl spoke. She was on the shorter side and had long, dark brown hair pulled into a low ponytail. Though she was normally quiet, the stress of the situation had pressured her to speak. She, along with three others, stood close together in the cold room with a metal table in the center, five chairs, and people who were very clearly hiding in the shadows.

"Me too," The second girl added. She had dark brown skin and braided black hair that trailed halfway down her back. She fidgeted with her hands as they all waited for their situation to change. The silence was deafening, as no one besides the girls spoke.

"Why are we here?" The girl standing in the front of the group demanded. She was clearly the most confident in the group, as she spoke with the most assurance. Their captures remained silent. They had been taken out of their shared apartment that afternoon and had been brought to the dull room that they were in now.

"Can we just leave? I don't know what you think we did, but you've definitely got the wrong people." A girl with dirty blonde hair said. The rest of the room stayed silent, causing her to get frustrated. "Why is no one responding?"

"Calm down, Deanna." The second girl sighed, rolling her eyes.

"Thanks, Thalia. The goal was to not reveal our names." The girl now known as Deanna rolled her eyes.

"Sorry," The girl called Thalia mumbled.

"If you all would be quiet for one moment then we could tell you why you're here," One of their captures said, exiting the shadows. He had light brown, almost blonde hair, and had gentle eyes. He spoke softly which was not what they were expecting since he looked strong and intimidating. It was obvious who he was, since he was a celebrity to the public, especially to the girls.

"Captain America," Hailey gasped slightly, trying to hold her ground and stay serious. He seemed familiar to her, for more reasons than just seeing his face on the TV. All of the teens became more concerned, since one of their captures was the infamous Captain America.

"We brought you here because we know about your abilities. You may be able to hide from the rest of the world, but not from us." A woman with shoulder-length red hair walked up out of the shadows, and stood next to Captain America. She was getting directly to the point, not wanting the group of girls to bicker any longer.

"Black Widow!" Deanna tried not to scream. Black Widow was her idol, and was someone who inspired her to be the fighter she was today. Had Black Widow not become an Avenger, Deanna would've given up long ago. She regained her uninterested, cool state and spoke again. "Abilities? What abilities?" She scoffed sarcastically. She turned to the girl at the front of the group, the girl with light brown hair and bright blue eyes, and raised her eyebrows. "Abilities? You got a clue of what they're talking about?"

"Not a clue." The blue-eyed haired girl shrugged and raised her eyebrows. Thalia facepalmed.

"Really, Hailey? Way to not be obvious." Thalia gestured angrily to the blue-eyed girl.

"Oh, whatever! Screw the secrecy thing! Now that we've revealed all but one of our names," Deanna gave a frustrated laugh. "This is El," Deanna said, giving a frustrated gesture to where the girl with dark brown hair was standing.

"We know," Hawkeye exited the shadows next, moving to stand behind Captain America.

"What?" All the girls except Deanna asked in unison.

"Stalkers," Deanna said under her breath. The Avengers paid no attention to them and gestured for them to take a seat. "So, Avengers... Please tell us what you need with us so that we can get home." Deanna said, rolling her eyes.
