hey hey hey 

figured i'd do an author's note just to explain what the hell is going on here 

so basically my friend rory (love u bby) really liked the old version of this book, but i kinda hated it, so i decided to rewrite it, since the chapters and storyline didn't really make sense. so yeah. 

i'm also rewriting this to cure my post endgame depression. 

it's been 2 months since the movie and i'm still not okay. 

that's that. i'm also gonna explain what i explained in the first author's note in the old version because this is an alternate universe- 

- the story is currently taking place in july of 2015, after age of ultron 
- this is before civil war, as civil war takes place in april of 2016
- in this universe, tony found peter before civil war
- this is also taking place after homecoming, because... i wanted peter to be in this book and didn't know how else to do it, so yeah in this universe spiderman homecoming takes place before civil war 
- bucky wasn't recaptured by HYDRA in winter soldier, so he's back to being bucky and is in hiding with sam wilson right now
- vision isn't a thing right now, for the sake of the plot. ultron was trying to create him but was stopped by wanda and pietro before they ran and joined the avengers 
- before anybody says "wHaT aBoUt ThE MiNdStOne", it's safe and is being protected in stark tower. it's in a container like the power stone is in guardians 1 and is being protected so don't fight me please 
- pietro is alive bitches. he was healed like clint was at the beginning of age of ultorn, but everyone originally thought he died. after that, he went on missions for S.H.I.E.L.D. before returning to stark tower. 
- they haven't moved to the new avengers facility yet, so they're all at stark/avengers tower right now
- peter's basically an avenger. he stays at the tower most of the time, but lives with aunt may during the school year and visits the tower on the weekend. 
- may knows that peter is spiderman is okay with it, as long as she knows that he's safe
- tony and pepper are married, so fight me
- lily is their daughter, but don't worry guys gals and non binary pals, i'll introduce morgan when i write endgame :)

- de is a lesbian 
- wanda is bisexual
- thalia is asexual but not aromantic

i think that's all for now. sorry i made u read that lmao 

also natasha romanoff deserves better.
