Isabella

After I said good night to Liam I gathered my thoughts and went up to my room I closed the door behind me I didn't want my parents to interrupt my thought. I found my way to my bed and climbed into it. I laid there for a while I thought I'd fallen asleep but I couldn't tell I didn't dream so I assumed I was still awake but I was just starting at nothing.

I was awakened by the sound of footsteps and the creaking of a door opening and closing I heard some whispers when I stood up I was, of course, scared I couldn't see anything.

"Mom.....Dad" I call out.

"It's mommy. Honey," my mom said.

"We need to get you ready for school" my mom sobbed.

"What. I'm not going to school" I argue as I slide out of bed.

"We have someone who will be helping you with your school work and help you get around" she explains.

"I don't want the whole school knowing I am disabled" I shout.

Even though I am blind I could still feel the saddened look on her face when I shouted at her. She placed some clothes in my lap and some shoes. She helped me to the bathroom I changed into the short yellow and white sundress and yellow high heels, my mom had given me. I had put my strapless bra on wrong so my mom had to help me I felt like I was twelve again. After I changed I had been granted a few minutes alone, so I found my way to my closet and it took three or four minutes until I found the clutch I grabbed the key stuffing it into my purse. I wanted to have it with me because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find it again. I waited on the steps because if my mother saw me walking down the stairs she would start crying. She helped me into the car and I sat there in silence until the other door opened and closed.

"Hi Isabella, I'm going to be helping you get around and with your school work," the guy said.

"How old are you and what's your name?" I ask.

"I'm 20 and my name is Daniel Mead," he answered.

I just sat there in silence while the car moved I started to drift off to sleep when the car jerked to a stop. I was jolted with energy, I just sat there until my door opened and a hand touched mine. I jerked it away and got myself out of the car. I finally put on my Gucci black sunglasses, that my mom had bought me after the accident. Daniel helped me walk and that's when I heard the mutters and whispers. Even if I couldn't see them people were making fun of me. We were walking when I heard gasps then the sound of the clicking of heels.

"Isabella," my friends yell.

They all swarmed around me and it's really overwhelming and kind of scary because I couldn't see anything I was terrified. Then all of them stopped cheering when the sound of pumps started to walk toward us.

"Isabella, hi....are you okay"

It was Amber she sounded weird.

"We are so glad to see you well, but......" She trailed off.

"What," I say nervously.

"Let me get straight to the point....we can't be seen with a disabled girl in our group it would just seem strange," Amber throaty voice says.

There's gasps and then silence I want to cry but I can't let myself not in front of them. I turn away and Daniel helps me to the washroom and I tell him that I need a moment to myself. I reach a wall and slide down sobbing into my knees. Someone enters, I quickly stand up.

"Who's there?" I call out.

"Oh yeah, you can't see me," the voice laughs.

"I'm the girl you always making fun of," she shouts.

There's footsteps then something strikes me across the face. Someone enters the bathroom and there's screams then the bathroom door slamming shut.

"Are you alright?" someone asks.

"Yah, I guess," I say faintly.

"My names Allyson Grayson," she introduces.

"Hi, I'm sorry if I was every mean to you but I could really use a friend right now," I beg something I never do.

"Hi, I'm new here and I would love to be your friend," she agreed.

She gave me a tissue and I wiped my face and Allyson helped me up so we could get out of the bathroom. I was happy she agreed but I didn't know if I could trust her completely, but I hope in time I will.

Liam

I was walking out of math with the man who interprets what is happening in class I am walking down the hallway when I see Isabella with this girl and another guy I don't recognize. I was going to walk up to her but then this guy grabbed Isabella's hand and they walked down the hallway together. This gave me this burning feeling I've never felt before. I just turned around in another completely different direction. I was walking down the hallway when I bumped into someone dropping there books.

"I'm sorry I wasn't watching were I was going," I said.

But the girl didn't respond she just shuffled her books together. I taped her on the shoulder and she looked up her hair was brown with light blonde highlights, her eyes were blue a very nice she was also very beautiful. She pulled out her phone and typed something.

'Sorry, I am deaf and I didn't here what you said'

I pulled out my phone and quickly typed something.

'Sorry, I'm deaf too. My named Liam Da Silva'

'Hi, I'm Melanie Wyatt'

'I became deaf two days ago from a car crash'

'Lucky I was born deaf'

I felt a little bad about it. But it's okay she smiles.

'If you want to learn some sign language I can help'

I nodded my head and we got up and walked down the hallway. Having a conversation with the some of the signs I know and by typing out what I didn't know in sign. It was actually really nice talking to someone who could understand me and it did help that she was very interesting.
