Chapter 19: Crazy Love Pt.2: Down By The Lake

Isabella

The drive wasn't that far there was a forested area with a lake at behind the house. We pulled up to a rusty old abandoned barn. It was quite terrifying getting into a car with someone who is mental unstable. And why did he call me Olivia? And what did he do to her?

He opened the door and I jumped out of the car. I didn't have the courage to let run, I was to scared. He walks to the back of the car and opens the trunk, I slowly walk towards him and look at what was in the trunk that gave him that devilish smile. I look down into the dark trunk, I look closer and that's when I scream.

"Liam," I call out.

"He can't hear you," Daniel laughs.

Daniel grabs and picks me up, I hadn't realized how strong he was. He carries me into the barn and throws me down, I hit my head on a metal pole. I rub my head but it just makes it worse I try to get up but I feel like my legs aren't responding to my brains demands. Daniel skips out of the barn and minutes after drags Liam's lifeless body in and drops him in front of me. I try to scream but I don't have the strength to do so. I raise my hands and run my fingers down the side of Liam's cheek, it's not cold nor does it feel lifeless. He's alive.

When I wake up Liam isn't in front of me anymore, I sit up and scan the dimly lit room. I see him trying to pry the door open. I jump up having all my strength back and hug him. He turns around and squeezes me in her embrace, I love him so much I can't contain my self. I start to kiss him up and down his neck. He stops me he seems badly injured, his forehead is covered in blood.

"Isabella, what happened to you," he says weakly.

"I love you, but there is something you need to know," I cry.

"I love you too, what is it," he says even more weakly.

"I'm pregnant."

He looks at me with a weak smile and then his eyes flutter, he passes out. I catch him before he can hit the floor, I couldn't help but cry. The doors open and Daniel comes rushing back in. He grabs me and starts to carry me out leaving Liam unconscious. I don't go quietly I'm kicking and screaming.

"Where are you taking me," I scream.

"Dear Olivia where going down by the lake remember I asked you at dinner. We have to go before mother and father see us," he says.

"What are you talking about!" I yell.

"Father almost caught me looking at you, but after tonight we won't have to hid," he laughs.

"What do you mean you can't be with me," he says angrily.

"What are you talking about, I didn't say anything," I say scarcely.

"Fine. If I can't have you no one can," he yells.

I shove him off me, and knee him in the gut. I make a dash for it heading as far away from the barn and Daniel I could get. When I reach the trail I realize Liam is still there I'm about to head back when I hear Daniels angry calls into the night. I turn back around and head to the lake which now that I think about it was the wrong way to go.

"Don't make the same mistake Olivia did, come with me we can be a family," he says calmly.

"No, your crazy I can't have you anywhere around my child," I cry.

"Well that's your choice but I won't stand for it," he screams.

He charges after me sending both of us into the water, I try to get up but something's holding me down. It's Daniel he has his hands against my throat and won't let me breath or move. Every time I cry out for help, water enters my mouth and it feels like my whole bodies shutting down.

Liam

I shot awake. Isabella's gone I look around and the barn door is open letting in cool air. I get up and walk out of the barn I see a little trail of dirt out of place. I walk up and hear splashes and muffled cries for help. I run down by the lake an what I saw was terrifying. Liam was in top of Isabella holding her under the water. I charge into the water the waves hitting me with full force, I reach Daniel and with all the strength I had left I punch him. He feel flat on the water, I grab her and Carry her back to shore. She starts to cough up water, I help her to her feet she is still in shock and wouldn't say a word.

We make back to the barn where we call for help, that's when Daniel comes back from the lake completely soaked a huge gash on the side of his cheek. I sit Isabella down I push him down and grab his keys I run for the car and start it. Isabella gets in we make to the opening of the road with only Daniel in our way. I think about it before I slam the car into reverse and stop almost slamming into the barn, I lock the car with the keys still in the car. Isabella is still to weak to move, so I get out of the car, I run up to Daniel as if we were to cowboys about to have the big showdown.

"So this is where it ends," I say to him mockingly.

"I guess so. If you hadn't gotten in the way of Olivia and I then we could have been great friends," he shouts.

"I didn't get in the way of anything, Olivia didn't want you and neither does Isabella," I laugh.

"Take that back," he cries loudly.

"No, because I know about you. What you did to your sister even what you did to Madison Pierce," I say and I couldn't help but frown.

"You know nothing, Isabella's mine and so is that baby."

"No, Daniel you need help. We can get you help just stop this," I say sympathetically.

"No," he screams.

He comes running after me shoving me to the floor, he kicks me in the the groin. I instantly fall to the floor he jumps on my and starts punching me. I punch back getting him off guard, I hear sirens there almost hear I say to myself as the pain gets worse with every blow. He finally stops but he only does that because he's focusing his strength on picking up a heavy rock that pay next to me. He raises it over my head.

"Good bye Liam," he laughs.

BOOOM!!!!

A gun went off I can't see who shot the first bullet but I know I'm safe. The rock lands right next to my head, Daniel is gasping for air he had been shot right through the back, I could tell where. Some of his blood was on me, I push him off me and stand up to thank the person who had shot him for me. And when I saw the those almost perfect eyes I almost whimpered. Questions raised in my mind. How did they get her? Did they always know? This isn't possible. She stood there with tears in her eyes. Isabella had been so weak from almost drowning. So I knew it couldn't be her. Melanie dropped the gun I front of be and kneeled down, she had shot Daniel. I don't understand how she knew where she got here. But I'm glad she did.
