Chapter 9: The Morning After

Liam

I wake not knowing where I am, I then look down and see Isabella peacefully sleeping. I don't want to wake her but I look at the clock. It's 7:30. I get up so I can get Isabella another set of clothes from my sister's room. My sister had gone to boarding school last summer. She was really messed up after our father's death. I turn on the shower and the jump in. I hate cleaning off her scent. I grab the soap when someone opens the curtain. It's Isabella.

"Isabella what are you doing." I ask.

She says something as she enters the shower with me but the water is making my vision blurry. So I couldn't understand. But when she reached out for me I know she wants more, and so did I. I grabbed her and pushed her up against the shower wall. I kiss her more viciously. I love her and I want every part of her. This time I don't hold back, but we didn't use a condom because I stopped before it was too late. After 10 more minutes of each other we decide we need to get ready for school. So I guess this makes us boyfriend and girlfriend. And I loved that idea. Isabella called someone and a few minutes later there was a car waiting outside my house.

After we change we get into the back seat of the car and the he

driver turns around. I do not quite get what he said but he knew Isabella really well. I grab her and pull her into my arms kissing her a billion times. The car stops in front of the school most of the students were in front or walking out of the parking lot. I open the door and grab Isabella's hand and help her out of the car. She tightly grabs my shoulder, after last night I completely forgot about what happened. I calm her down and kiss her. She's lucky she doesn't have to see all the people staring at us while we enter the school.

When we enter the school, Allyson runs up to us. Isabella told me about her and how Allyson saved her from depression.

"Hi I'm Liam." I say.

'I know, from the coffee shop" she signs.

She was really good at signing.

"You're good at signing" I say.

"My cousin is deaf" I think that's what she said.

So the three of us are walking down the hallway when Melanie passes by us. I feel bad but, I'm in love with Isabella and I don't want to hide it anymore. Isabella tightens her grip and we go to our first class. I realize we have most of our classes together which is amazing. After hours we finally reach the end of the day, I wanted to take Isabella to this nice meadow. But her father arrives and he was arguing with her. I walked up to them to see if everything was okay. I only understood a few things.

"Isabella.....have you been all night."her father had said.

"Are you and mom getting divorced." Isabella cries.

"Isabella is everything okay." I jumped in.

"Excuse me....private family matter." her father said.

"Isabella and me are in love and I'm going to look out for her." I yelled not realizing I was.

"Wait....I know you your the other kid that was in the accident with my daughter." He yelled. But to me was just opening and closing his mouth.

"That car crash ruined my family" he yells at me.

I was furious. Isabella tried to calm me down. But how dare he say the car crash that brought me together with Isabella ruined her life.

"Maybe your family was already messed up" I shout.

Mr.Matheson pushes me down and grabs his daughter dragging her to his car. I am left there flabbergasted. Did I just ruin my relationship with Isabella. I hated that my anger got the best of me.

Isabella

I am furious with not just my dad but Liam. How could he say that about my father. My mother was in the kitchen making dinner. I could smell the sauce for the spaghetti, I don't even say hi to my mother I just go straight to my room. My father enters the house calling me two come downstairs. I of course don't listening I hear my parents arguing and then that one faithful word. 'Divorce' that's when I open my window and then go into my closet locking the door. I texted the only person I wanted to see.

A few minutes later there was a knock on the closet door. I open it but it's just my mom she has sets down what sounds like a tray of food and then shuffles out of the room. That's when I hear him. Liam. I find my way to him and kisses him intensely. I then us in the closet. I want it to be just us, we share the spaghetti and I we sit on the ground. I rest my head on his lap. Until I decide to show him. I get up and grab his hand. Grab the key which I had kept on me, so I could always have it. I gave it to him and he found and opened the door. He led me until we reached the door.

"This is something none knows about me." I say.

But I didn't come down here for that I want relive my anger. I go to the desk in the middle of the room and I pick up what appears to be a paper weight and I through it at the bookshelf. I hear the sound of wood cracking and dozen of books falling to the floor. Liam grabs my hand as I'm about to throw another object. I start balling my eyes out, I can't stop the tears just keep on pouring. I collapse into Liam's arms letting him take control of my body because I can't take it I want to just fall and I do I feel my arms.

Ever since the accident I've been having mood swings and these head aches that kill my head. I feel faint, my head feels like it's being split in half. I collapse into Liam's arms I feel the comfort but also the pain. And I swear for a brief moment I saw him. With my eyes. I saw the love of my life, and the look of shock on his face as I hit the floor. I unconscious thinking about what I had just seen.
