Chapter 17: Stalkers Gonna Stalk

Liam

After Isabella left I was tired so I said good night to Katherine and my mom. I planned on texting Isabella good night but I fell asleep before I could.

I wake up with a huge migraine, which is expected I did just have a experimental treatment two days ago. I reach for my phone and call Isabella, I made a mental note that I needed to get a new phone. The phone goes straight to voicemail as if she has turned off or it died. I call Isabella's mom to see if she's okay. When her mother picks up she is loudly sobbing, she sounds like she hasn't gotten any sleep and she is out of breath.

"Mrs.Matheson whats wrong, where's Isabella?" I asked.

"She...she....Liam you need to come here now," she sobs.

I drive as fast as I could, we entering the property, I could tell that something was wrong the door was wide open and the front year looked as if some had pulled at. When I got inside I ran straight up to Isabella's room where mom was loudly screaming and having a panic attack.

"Mrs.Matheson, where's Isabella what happened," I say worry cracking my voice.

"I heard screaming and then I ran here and the room had been ransacked and she was gone. I called the police there on there way," she says.

Sirens were in the background, I looked around the room trying to find a clue that's when something sparkled on the floor next to the window. I pick it up and it's a piece of some kind of change. And that's when the memory flashes in my brain , like my nervous system was having a spasm. The change I found used to be context to a belt that had a snake on it....this was worn on the day I found Isabella about to be raped by.....Daniel Meade.

I shake out of my daze and start yelling what happened in the short hours Isabella left my house. Two maybe three hours ago. I want to know where my girlfriend is. And I knew that the only one who could know that answer was her and right now I would do anything to find her.

I called Allyson and we would check every abandon barn or house to see if Daniel took her there. Scott even tried to help, but I think he was just doing it for Allyson. Which made me feel mad because like him I would do anything for the girl I had eyes for or in my case is in the love with. I know love is a strong and happy word and people use it loosely, but in our case I love Isabella Matheson she means the world to me. And I'm going to find her and when I do, I'm going to kill Daniel.

Two maybe three hours before......

Isabella

I just starred at him, nothing happened he just stood there like a tree. And then all hell broke lose.

I remember fragments of that night....

I remember him smiling, and then charging straight through the front door causing a huge commotion. My mother must of only heard my screams of terror because on minute he was downstairs the next he had me pinned against my window. He grabbed my by my hair and pulled me out side. I broke free and started running back toward the house across the lawn. But he pushed me onto my stomachs and started to drag me across the lawn, I tried to get a gripe on the grass but it just kept ripping. I was terrified. He through me into the back of a car that had tinted windows and was sound proof. I knew this because this was a car I knew well, I had rode this car before. My first day of kindergarten, this was my father's work car. Daniel must of kept it when he was fired, they were still trying to find him for rape charges. Even though he didn't he had come close.

Then I woke up here in some dingy hotel looking room. I felt tired and hurt, I felt if I sneezed or Doug blood would come out. And even though it made me think of the baby if there even is a baby. I finally realized I wasn't actually laying on a bed but strapped to and armchair. My hair was all over the place and I could feel the dirt on my face from when he dragged me across the yard.

"Good morning, babe," he says creepily.

I jump up making me fully awake, and I realize I'm not the only one in the room. Daniel is sitting on the bed across from me, he has that same smirk from last night.

"Why are you doing this?" I mutter.

"I did everything for you, I stuck around when none didn't and you just rejected me for that deaf idiot," he yells.

"Well, that idiot is the father of my baby," I say mater of factly.

He strikes me hard across the face make my cheek sting, I look up at him and scream as loud as I could. He covered my mouth and shook my head twice, making my neck crick.

"Shut up you spoiled bitch. If that's true your dead and your baby is dead along with the baby daddy," she whispers into my ear.

He grabs a pillow off the bed and rips piece of the pillow case and ties it around my head. He storms out of the room leaving me to cry as my neck and cheek burn. I don't realize I'm sleeping until I wake up to the sound of whistling. I start to listen closer, ever since I got my sight back my super hearing has been going.

I start to make some loud noises but the whistling passes right by. My head hurt and my body ached, I know Liam and my mom would be looking for me but especially know that Liam will. All I wanted was to be in his big strong arms, I want to be in his embrace his warm grip. But instead I was in this cold dark smelly room, where did Daniel go and when will he be back. I start to wiggle around and that's when the chair starts to move from side to side. The chair crashes and my bindings break, I remove the piece of pillow case off my face. I head to the door and try to unlock it. But it doesn't budge I scream and bang but none hears me, or I think they don't. I hear foot steps and then keys, I step back from the door almost tripping on broken chair pieces. Daniel comes in the door with a grocery bag and a smile.

"Babe, I got a few things before we go home to our house," he says.

"Your crazy, I don't love you, and stop calling me babe," I shout.

"I got a pregnancy test, so you can see if you our having our baby if not we'll try again," he laughed.

"Our baby," I say.

He hands me the box and rush out of the room into the bathroom, anything to get out of this creepy situation. I pee on the stick and put the turquoise cap back on. I walk out of the bathroom and set the test on the night table.

"Okay no change so we can get on the road," he says to me.

"Where are we going," I say nervously.

"Home," he says creepily.

I change and he pulls me out side, he had put the test which by now should of had its results in a bag in the back. He is served me into the car making sure my door was on child lock so I couldn't open it from the inside.

The drive lasted two hours, I know this because I was up for every minute of it. I wanted to just jump out of the car when we reached the highway. We enter some small town on the outskirts of our own town. There were dirt roads and some of the buildings were made out of wood. It looked like something out of a old western movie.

We pulled up to this Victorian styled house in what looked like the middle of nowhere. The style of the house clearly didn't match the rest of the town. Daniel grabs the bags and we head inside. It was a really creepy feeling to think that he thought of us as if we were married.

"So what now?" I ask.

"Me and you will get married and then have a family," he says. With not a doubtful word in sight.

"Where are we?" I say trying to change the subject.

"This is our home, I bought after that night and I've been here since waiting for you to come back and now you did," he says creepily.

"I want to check the test..alone...where's the bathroom," I ask.

"Upstairs to the left, remember that," he says as he walks to the front door and locks it.

I walk up the stairs and walk passed the bathroom door, I could hear Daniel pacing. I looked at every window and in every room all locked and bars outside. I tried everything there was no way out at least not from upstairs, I went back to the bathroom and sat on the wooden toilet seat. I removed the test from the bag and looked at the result. I looked at the result and studied it. Positive for yes, negative for no. I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant with Liam's child and if Daniel found out he would keep it as his own. And I can't let that happen.
