Jungkook felt the looming presence over him and turned around quickly, to see the face of Taehyung. He was suspecting it to be Jin or Hobi, so was surprised when he saw this face appear over him. Taehyung opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off instantly by Jungkook sliding out from underneath him, and hurrying to the bathroom. Taehyung followed him with questioning eyes.

In record time, Jungkook was in and out of the bathroom. He briefly cleaned his teeth and ruffled his already perfect hair. He lazily switched his joggers for jeans, and deemed himself ready. He threw his empty backpack on his back, ready to get out of the room as soon as possible. It was clear to Taehyung that something wasn't right, he extended his arm, reaching out to grab the youngers wrist. He wanted to help, even though he didn't particularly like this boy, seeing him in this state caused something to change. Something in him felt bad. Jungkook looked back, his eye bags heavy and dark. Taehyung realised his eyes were filled with a familiar sadness, and with that he let the boy go.

After the abnormal occurrence between the two boys, Taehyung didn't bother to follow him, he reckoned he needed, or at least wanted, some space. Instead, he sluggishly ambled through the extensive campus, his worn trainers scuffing the swept pavement as he went. He pulled his phone out, noticing how late he was for his first class, his emotionless facade remained unphased though. He eventually arrived outside of the classroom door, shoving the door open as he entered. The room fell silent, he was 15 minutes late so the lesson was underway. His teacher scolded him. He responded with a sarcastic eye roll.

"Drop the attitude, and sit down." The teacher barked back at his actions. The boy's eyes flicked over the room, looking for an empty seat, only to realise that the one seat available was next to a tired looking ravenette. Knowing he had no choice in the matter, he bit his tongue as he reluctantly made his way over. He threw the chair backwards, bringing the tired boy back to reality.

Taehyung threw his bag under the table, plopping himself down on the seat. He slouched down, his harsh actions attracting the attention of Jungkook.

"Take a picture it'll last longer." the elder snapped to Jungkook, not bothering to look at him. Jungkook simply responded with an eye roll, fixating his gaze back towards the run-down, abandoned block in the school.

The lesson passed fairly quickly, all the information went in one of Taehyung's ears and out the other. It was normal for the boy. Throughout the lesson, he noticed his eyes constantly floating towards Jungkook, who was fixated on the derelict building outside. He seemed to have an obsession with the particular building. As the bell rang, Jungkook robotically slid his chair back, whipping his slightly lengthy hair over his face. Taehyung caught glimpse of the boys angular jawline, with a spark of curiosity dancing hopefully unnoticed in his eyes, as he turned his head, 'Damn' Taehyung thought to himself. However, he quickly discarded the thought, remembering how much he disliked the boy. Despite this, his eyes remained on the latter. Taehyung was fixated for some reason. He watched as Jungkook pushed himself out of his seat and disappeared behind him, at which point he began to pack his stuff, ready to leave, before there was a flush of warm air behind his right ear, which sent shivers throughout his body.

"Take a picture it'll last longer." The younger mockingly whispered to Taehyung before cockily leaving the room, not looking back. Taehyung, admittedly flustered, cleared his throat, muttering curses beneath his breath.

Taehyung only just managed to crawl through the next period, he will forever and always hate Science. On top of that, he couldn't forget the interaction from earlier. Why was he lying like that? And why were his eyes so pained? Maybe there was more to this boy than Taehyung bothered to see. As the melancholic bell rang throughout the school, Taehyung joined the wave of teenagers rushing to the cafeteria. As he arrived, his eyes perused over the sea of familiar faces, looking for his dorm mates. He suddenly heard the vivid laughs of Hobi coming from his right, and swivelled to see the bright smiles of his friends sat around a table. He swerved between the crowd of hungry, exhausted teens, sitting on the last free seat on the table. Everyone was looking, or rather cringing, at the bickering couple. Taehyung joined the group in staring at the two. Hobi was childishly trying to wrestle Yoongi's drink from his hand, whining about his parched throat. However, Yoongi, stubbornly refused. Although his face didn't seem amused, there was a visible happiness contained inside his eyes. In due course, he gave in to Hobi's begging, allowing him to finish off his drink. The two continued juvenilely pushing each other back and forth. They were in their own world.

Lunch was, as usual, uneventful. There was the same insults flying between Jimin and Taehyung, with the occasional Dad Joke coming from Jin, rapidly followed by the dissatisfied sighs of the others. There was a series of suggestive looks shot between Jin and Namjoon, before they discreetly excused themselves to go "do something". This left Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook, the couple weren't counted and they were completely unaware of their surroundings. Be that as it may, Jimin's stomach began to rumble aggressively. He attempted to ignore it, but was soon forced by Taehyung to take care of himself and eat. As he left to queue up, it left Taehyung and Jungkook awkwardly sat in silence. After a minute or two, Taehyung disrupted this silence.

"What's your obsession with that abandoned block?" He inquired.

"I don't know what you're on about." Jungkook muttered, staring solemnly at the floor.

"Don't lie. I saw you staring at it all of Geography."

"Oh so you were staring at me." Jungkook said, a smirk spreading cheekily across his face, finally looking up at Taehyung. Slightly embarrassed, Taehyung stuttered before managing to form his sentence.

"I wasn't staring at you, so don't get cocky alright. Just trying to make conversation is all." Taehyung retorted, now looking away.

Jungkook looked at the boy as he stared away, he didn't mean to piss him off. Part of him wanted to talk to him, he never found out why Taehyung disliked him with such a passion.

"Sorry, I guess." He mumbled, almost inaudibly. Without turning his head back in his direction, Taehyung saltily replied,

"Yeah, alright. I've got to get to lessons early, so I'll see you in the dorms later I guess." And with that, he pushed himself up, leaving quickly. Not bothering to say goodbye to anyone else. Jungkook's eyes looked after the boy, up to now they'd barely spoken, and suddenly he was making an effort. He didn't know what was changing, but he wanted to make an effort too. He wanted to get to know Taehyung.
