The rest of the day had flown by for everyone. Before Taehyung had realised it, it was the end of the day, and he was leaving his drama class, alongside his other friends. He didn't dorm with these ones, and wasn't as close, but they all did drama together, and so had a lot in common. They walked down through the maze, their joyful laughs filling the once hectic hallways. At once, the appealing sound of an angelic voice caught Taehyung's attention. Gradually it drowned out the laughs surrounding him, and he detached from the group on a mission to find the source of the voice. He followed the never-ending hallway, listening intently as the heavenly sound got louder.

He came to an abrupt stop outside an enclosed room. The windows were covered with blinds, however he could faintly make out a figure of someone sitting at a piano. He stood outside for a minute or two, just to admire the anonymous singer. Without realising, he got sucked in by the blissful sound. He leaned against the door, to press his ear closer. In the blink of an eye, the door fell open, causing the boy to stumble in behind it. He facepalmed the ground, groaning at the pain of his shoulder colliding with the solid floor. The realization soon washed over him that he was now in the presence of whoever was singing. A strong presence shadowed over him.

'This is it. I'm a dead man'

Unexpectedly, the unknown presence reached down, their hand appearing in front of Taehyung, offering to help him up. Taehyung accepted the offer, pulling himself up. He couldn't place his finger on what happened, but when he grabbed the latter's hand, he felt a wave of electricity jolt through his body. It felt nice?

However, this all came crashing down on Taehyung as he realised who it was. The voice he had been fawning over, and touch he melted under was none other than Jungkook. Jung-freaking-kook. His face flushed a bright red as Jungkook's eyes burnt into his face, full of confusion and embarrassment.

"Why're you blushing? Are you a bit flustered being this close to me?" Jungkook questioned. In fact, Taehyung hadn't noticed the small amount of distance between the two until Jungkook's comment. He quickly stepped back. Taehyung thought back to the lyrics he had overheard,

"On days I hate being myself, days I want to disappear forever. Let's make a door in your heart. Open the door and this place will await"

Taehyung began to realise that maybe Jungkook and him were more similar than he wants to admit. He looked back up at the boy in front of him, and something had changed. He didn't view this boy as a heartless player anymore, he understood that he must have reasons. He didn't like not understanding his feelings, but this was an entirely new one.
