It was 5 am in the morning. I got up from the bed rubbing my eyes, slipped into my pom flip flops and trudged my body towards the window, I looked like a sloth.

I glared outside the window and saw fog everywhere, yes it was winter in India and in Mumbai, the winter was much colder. I felt chilly inside the house with the room heater already switched on. I had layers of blankets and shawls and whatnot on my body, just to keep my body warm. You can imagine how frosty the weather was. Or maybe I wasn't used to that much cold weather.

Today we were gonna go to Toronto, Canada as my Dad (Raashid Abdullah)had finally established his business. He installed a 5-star Indian restaurant. And yeah, It's now one of the best restaurants in Toronto. Am glad that my Dad prospered and became successful Alhamdulillah. May Allah make him more prosperous. Ameen

I could possibly say now that we were "Rich" as when I look back at our past, (just mentioning) we struggled a lot financially.

Seeing the view outside the window I admired the beauty of nature and the sound of birds chirping just calmed my soul, I felt soothing energy bursting inside me. I mean Nature did never betray the heart that loved her. Nature does nothing uselessly. And then I heard a much more beautiful voice of Adhaan filling up my ears.

I quickly performed wudhu and offered Fajr Salah.

After completing the salah(prayer), I draped myself with all the blankets again and listened to Surah Rahman. I took a seat on my couch near my wardrobe and closed my eyes. I felt relaxed, it was something beautiful in surah Rahman, that is something unique which Allah does in this surah, and throughout the surah, everything is in pairs.

After a while, I heard someone calling out my name outside my room, which disturbed my calm mind.

"Liya! Liyaaaa! Open the door lil sis or else we're going to be late because of you!" My Elder Sister (Leena Abdullah) squealed standing outside my room.

I quickly got up and opened the door and frowned at her angrily.

"O, Allah! why are you covered in so many layers of blankets?" she asked appallingly.

"Why do you need to shout like a monkey huh? I have ears okay? And I woke up at 5 am you, idiot, " I said.

"Oh... Ummm. I-I I thought you are still in your bed snoring like a chimpanzee, she smirked. "I had to frighten you or else we would have actually shown up late at the airport!" she said playing with her fingers, "lazy duck, " she murmured.

"Oh please! (Waving my palm around her face) Don't forget who is lazy here, it's you AAPI," I flicked her nose.

Aapi(older sister). I rarely call her by that word, I usually call her by her name.

She rolled her eyes and grinned slightly as everyone in the house knew how Leena was... Yeah, she was A LAZY BUG.

She pulled my cheeks childishly(not childishly) and Said. "Asslamualaikum Baby sister."

"Aaaah it hurts, you're so abusive, woman!" I shrieked, "Ohkay Walaikumassalam now leave my face!" I yelled again.
"And I ain't a baby for god's sake, " I finished and rubbed my hurting cheeks.

"Oh hun, I just wanted to put some natural blush on your face," She said smirking at me. "And you will always be a baby to me, " she said flicking my nose and planting a light kiss on my cheek.

"Haha, so funny lemme put a little on your face too then," I said moving towards her devilishly.

"Mumaaaa", she screamed and ran downstairs.
