This chapter is a bit long, I suggest y'all to bring some hot chocolate. Enjoy reading the chapter. Peace ✌
The Next Day.
"Wake up. Wake up. Wake up, it's a brand new day."
I heard my alarm's sound.
I opened my eyes and managed to find my phone which was under the blankets, yeah "blankets". I quickly turned off the alarm so that no one gets disturbed. It was damn freezy. "Ya Allah help me, "my inner voice screamed.
As usual, I jumped into my flip flops. I took out a fur jacket from my closet and wore it to overcome the freezing weather.
I quickly performed ablution(wudhu) and performed Fajr Salah.
Everything seemed new. Surroundings and vibes.
Today we were gonna go hunt for good institutions for high schools, not hunt but search for a school. I had a few high schools on the mind which I wanted my Dad to check.
I completed my 10th grade in India, so I was gonna join 11th grade. And Mahad, my brother would join 12th grade in the same high school. High schools are fun! I guess.
Yo as long as you don't have any siblings with you who give you brain bleeders.I realized I was still sitting on the prayer mat. I quickly got up and folded the mat and put it on the table. I walked towards the window to see outside. To my astonishment, I saw much more heaps of snow than yesterday in the garden. Mhm.
On the other hand, everything was calm and relaxing.
I then did a warm-up exercise. I felt beads of sweat running down my spine and on the forehead, I took my fur jacket off. And then I did a few more exercises which I used to do earlier. A set of crunches, chair dips, leg lifts, jumping jacks and a 30 seconds plank.
PS: #fitnessfreak.
I like keeping my body fit.
I then strolled outside my door to check who was up. I have a habit of waking up early than other members of the family and just wandering like a ghost in the whole house.
I peeked inside of Mahad's room, As usual, he was sleeping on his bed like a gorilla with a very funny position and Leena too was sleeping, she had her glasses on, that lady always forgets to take off her glasses. I went and took her glasses off and tucked her in.
I checked her closet, it was half arranged and half of her clothes and stuff were lying here and there. *lazy bug*
On the other hand, Mahad's room was a total mess.
I thought for a second to wake both of them up for Fajr Salah but it was already too late.
I went downstairs to make myself a morning detox drink, as I have had a lot of junk in the past few days.
I heard some noises from the kitchen and slowly peeked inside, I saw mumma arranging the crockery in the kitchen. I took cat steps and intended to scare her.
" Assalamualaikum Liya," Mumma said softly without even facing me.
"Mumma! How is that possible? Every single time I try my best to scare you, you always catch me," I said.
"I know you well Liya," she said.
I quickly went and hugged her.
Can you help me arrange the crockery sweetheart?" Mumma asked.
"Yeah, sure! But let me make myself a drink first," I said.
"Yeah be quick," Mumma said.
"Will be back in a minute or two," I said.
