You walked around the store, well more like mark carried you on his back. You tried to remember what you needed to buy considering you forgot your list, but soon you remembered the last item you needed.
"oh I need cereal, that's the last thing I need mark" you said
"alright" mark said as he began walking to the cereal in the grocery store. Someone stared at you weirdly while mark was carrying you and you simply lifted the cereal box from the shelf when you arrived at the right place
Normally mark, jungwoo, or jaehyun would shop for you. Recently doyoung would always bring groceries to your house instead though. However, mark called you this morning saying he needed to talk so he decided to take you grocery shopping.
You shoved the cereal in the bag, since this was the last item you two traveled over to the counter to pay. Mark walked silently while you felt nervous, he was never this quite.
As you waited in line soon it was your turn, you tried to ignore the confused stares of the worker as you simply payed for the bag of groceries.
You both then left the grocery store and headed to your apartment building, you entered your apartment but mark was not letting you down. He had opened the door of your apartment and set down the groceries, you attempted to get off his back but he held you there.
"mark, why won't you let me down" you chuckled trying to fight against his super strength. You noticed mark wasn't laughing and realized something was wrong.
"just stay there for now" mark whispered out and then he exited your apartment. Then he went down the stairs so you two were outside on the city streets once again. Mark began walking down the street as you held onto him wondering why he was so quite but you couldn't see his face since he carried you on his back, but as you walked you finally saw his hurt expression from one of the shop windows you walked by
"I have a problem" he sated simply and you rested on his back with a sigh, you had been walking for a while and he finally spoke.
"well mark, what is it"
"I like haechan, but he started being really distant lately. I don't know what to do" you heard marks voice crack as you continued to walk and you finally realized why he was carrying you. He left you on his back because he probably didn't want you to see his face. He didn't want you to see him hurting
"why don't you try to talk it out with him mark, ask him why he is avoiding you"
"I've tried, he always just makes up excuses and ignores me" you could definitely tell mark was upset from the sound sound of his voice so you leaned over and hugged his back to try to comfort him

Doyoung entered the cafe smiling. He had known y/n for a month and a half now and he had slowly started developing feelings for her. He was now one hundred percent sure that he has definitely fallen in love with y/n.
Y/n was kind and she made doyoungs heart race, he had never felt like this before. From the start something was different, when he first laid eyes on y/n he was done for, he knew he would fall in love no matter what.
The reason he was smiling so much is because he asked y/n to met him at the cafe tomorrow, he was planning to take her to the park they always visited to confess to her. He asked taeil, yuta, and taeyong to help as well. He looked down at the flowers covering the floor of the cafe and he smiled again as he thought about y/n.
The flowers were still beautiful and never wilted or disappeared, taeil was very happy about that. As doyoung was smiling admiring the flowers he noticed haechan was cleaning a table with a concerned expression on his face. He walked up to the younger and patted his shoulder.
"what's wrong haechan" doyoung questioned.
"I'm so conflicted right now" he sighed
"about what" doyoung asked
"I really like mark but I'm afraid, I mean him and y/n are really close and what if he likes her or something. I'm afraid of being rejected...so I just decided to avoid him as best as I can until my feelings for him go away" haechan sighed and doyoungs eyes widened while his heart hurt slightly
Doyoung had never thought about what would happen after his confession
Would he be losing y/n if she rejected him. He knew y/n and mark were close, there was no denying that. So what if y/n rejected him because she liked someone else, like mark.
Doyoung was feeling panicked and his heart was racing, why had he never thought about what would happen if y/n did not like him back. He couldn't help but speak softly, now he wasn't so sure of the words coming out of his own mouth.
"you know sometimes you should just try and see where things go" doyoung spoke and haechan looked up as his eyes winded while a sad expression appeared on his face
"I really don't think my heart could take it if he told me he didn't feel the same. I know in a way it's selfish of me to avoid him like this but so many things point to him possibly rejecting me and I can't take it" haechan said and pointed out the cafe window.
Doyoung looked out the window and his eyes widened as he saw wark walked by with y/n on his back and she was hugging him tightly.
Doyoung felt his heart shatter and haechan just looked away
He knew y/n could simply be friends with mark, he knew she could still feel the same as him. He knew all of these things but suddenly thinking about what would happen if y/n did not feel the same he felt a overwhelming emotion
He was suddenly he was afraid to confess, he was afraid of rejection. He was afraid of losing y/n, he was just so.... afraid.
