Virgil had been growing more and more anxious. Deciet had been missing for a while, and while the purple clad male should be relieved at that, he knew it meant the snake was planning something. After all, Virgil himself had been one of the ones to help with those plans. But that was now behind him.

He had a real family now, ones who wouldn't use him. There were still times when they would reference him as somewhat of a villain in the past, but they were all quick to apologize. Roman still called him names, but they held no malice, instead being pet names, which Virgil pretended to be annoyed by, although he truly loved it. He was Roman's Dark and Stormy Knight, and he was Virgil's prince charming.

The sides knew nearly everything about each other. Yes there were some details they didnt know, but it was nothing important. Except for one thing.

Virgil had kept them hidden so long sometime he wasn't even sure if they were there anymore. But sure enough, he did still have his wings. He could make them disappear, but two large scars would appear on his back. He would never let the other see.

Virgil had good and bad days. The bad days were few and far between, but when they occurred, it was bad. And it was one of those days. Fear and worries pounded through his skull, and he held his head in his hand, as if trying to keep it from splitting in two. The other sides had learned that they could help ease his pain, but today was different.

Virgil felt an aching in his back, a demand for his wings to be set free. He resisted, knowing the others would soon come to check on him.

He curled into a ball on the stairs, his body shaking, and eyes glowing purple. A black mist slowly covered the floor. This was different than the other times. The other sides needed to stay away. With the amount of anxiety emanating through him, Thoma swould be fine if Virgil decided to stay in his room. He knew Thomas would be able to feel some of the fear.

Virgil knew it had only been a few minutes, but it felt like he had been laying on the floor for an eternity when the others showed up.

Their eyes widened in panic, and Roman rushed over to the male, reaching out a hand, when purple sparks, shot out towards the prince.

"[S̲̲̅̅t̲̲̅̅a̲̲̅̅y̲̲̅̅ ̲̲̅̅a̲̲̅̅w̲̲̅̅a̲̲̅̅y̲̅]" Virgil said, his voice doubling.

"Virgil, can you try to hold it in for just a few seconds?" Roman asked, undeterred.

Virgil shut his eyes tightly, trying to hold it in long enough for Roman to do what ever he needed to do. The pain was so overwhelming, Virgil hadn't noticed the prince pick him up, and transport them to his room.

Roman set the side down, and took a few steps back.

"I tried to make it as calming as possible. I'll stay here so you won't be alo-"

Virgil cut the prince off.

In the most normal voice he could muster, he said, "Go, Thomas needs you... I'll be fine here... It wont be good if you guys are around me for any longer."

Roman knew trying to reason with him would fail, so he nodded cautiously, leaving Virgil alone.

Once the creative side was gone, Virgil shed his hoodie, revealing a black tank top under. The back of the tank top hit very low, only covering what was under two large parallel scars on his back.

His wings unfurled, the black feathers with purple tips glinting in the starlight. The pain lessened a little, it was still raging, but revealing his wings had helped. In between the waves of pain, Virgil made a note to thank Roman later. The prince knew that space calmed the side, so he had created a gorgeous galaxy, surrounding him on all sides.
