Star's POV

It was a regular Thursday in the Diaz household.  Marco and I were sitting on the couch, while eating nachos. I had gotten up to wash my hands, when suddenly I became extremely dizzy.

Thank goodness Marco was behind me. That would have been bad.

"You okay there, Star?" He questioned me, looking concerned.

"I'm alright," I said, rolling my eyes, "just got a little dizzy."

"Okay..." He said, unsurely.

Time Skip!
(Cause I'm lazy. Fight me.)

The next day, Marco went to go hang out with Jackie again, leaving me at home. I was eating some cereal, when I got a headache, which ended up lasting all day. Guess it was a migraine or something.

Marco came home to find me huddled up in a blanket on the couch with all the lights turned off. When he turned one on, I hissed at him like an angry cat.

The dizziness and headaches continued over the next couple of weeks, the latter getting more and more severe.

Finally, Mr. and Mrs. Diaz took me to the Earth doctor. We checked in, then waited for two hours, during which, I continually vomited. I didn't want Marco to see me like this. I was disgusting.

After we had been called in, I was measured, weighed, and all that other crud. The doctor eventually came into the room, and asked me what had been going on. I told her about the vomiting, dizziness, and the headaches.

After awhile, she came in and said, "It is just a migraine, sweetie."

I didn't agree, but she was the doctor, so I went with it.

Even after taking the medicine, I was still feeling awful. Mrs. Diaz had already told my mother what was going on, and I had been to a doctor in Mewni, but it didn't help.

The headaches were so bad that sometimes I didn't even realize what I was doing. I would zone out, and feel weak.

Then came the seizures. The first one occurred while Marco and I were playing a board game. I rolled the dice, when it happened. Marco started freaking out, at least that's what he told me. I could see him saying something, but couldn't comprehend it.

I was taken to the ER. I was given a thing called a MRI. It was really weird. Later, the doctor told us what he found. I overheard him talking to Mr. and Mrs. Diaz.

"She has a brain tumor."

I had been standing up, talking to Marco, when I got dizzy again and fell.

I woke up to find myself in a hospital bed. Marco was sitting next to me, and was crying.

I put a hand on his shoulder, shocking him, and he quickly wiped away all the tears.

"Are you okay?" We asked at the same time.

"Stop that!" We chuckled.

He stopped smiling.

"Star," he began, "I need to tell you something. You have terminal cancer."

"What's cancer?" I asked him.
