Melissa turned the corner, seeing Ella, Scott, and Stiles with Liam hanging onto Ella and Stiles. "Uh. . hi, mom," Scott said awkwardly. Melissa shook her head and grabbed Liam a wheelchair and his file. She helped him into the wheelchair, "Don't worry, Liam. We'll take good care of you." As Melissa began to push him away, Liam told her to stop. "Can Ella come too?" Liam asked, looking up at Melissa. Melissa looked over at Scott then Ella. Ella looked at Scott for a second before nodding and turning to Melissa, "Yeah, I'll follow you guys."

Dr. Geyer walked into the room, giving Ella a small smile then looking at Liam's file. He hummed to himself then went to touch Liam's ankle, "Okay, just–" "It's broken, isn't it?" Liam asked, looking up at the doctor. Ella looked at the doctor as well, wanting to know if she was going to have to kill Scott and Stiles or not. "It's definitely going to need an X-ray," Dr. Geyer said. "It's broken," Liam said sadly, "And it's my fault." "You want to tell me what happened?" Dr. Geyer asked. "I went up against two juniors. One of them is captain of the team," Liam explained, glancing towards Ella who gave him a comforting smile. "Remember what we always say? Play smart, not hard," Dr. Geyer said, causing Ella to knit her brow together in confusion. "Are you mad at me?" Liam asked. "No, of course not. Your mom might be mad at me for getting you into lacrosse, but maybe we should both wait for the X-ray before we panic. And trust me I have more reason to panic than you," Dr. Geyer chuckled, "It's not over yet. Wait for that X-ray."

Dr. Geyer nodded at Ella before walking out of the hospital. "How do you and Dr. Geyer know each other?" Ella asked, cocking her head to the side. Liam chuckled softly, "He's my step-dad." "Dr. Geyer is your dad?" Ella asked, eyes wide. "Step-dad, but yeah," Liam smiled. Ella nodded, "Cool. So why did you transfer from Devenford Prep? I don't care what Scott or Stiles say; if you said you transferred than you transferred." Liam licked his lips, "I actually was kicked out." "Why?" Ella asked, "If you're not comfortable with telling me than it's okay."

Liam shook his head, "No, it's okay. Let's just say I did some intense damage to one of the teachers. But in my defense, the teacher was a jerk." Ella laughed, "Wow." "What's Stiles's deal?" Liam asked Ella. Ella laughed, "You have to be more specific." "Why did he ask all those questions earlier in the locker room?" Liam asked.

Ella sighed, "Because my brother—" "Brother?" Liam asked with wide eyes. Ella laughed, "Yes, brother, unfortunately. Anyways, my brother is really judgy, I guess. He's also really paranoid about new people and stuff. He thinks everyone is evil and they'll do us harm. And now that I realize it, most of the time he's right." "Do you think he's right about me?" Liam asked. Ella looked into the young boy's eyes. She could see the pain he was in due to his ankle, and she could see that he didn't want her to say yes. The boy was extremely innocent. Ella shook her head, "Not at all. You seem like a really good kid, Liam. My brother is just really cautious." Liam nodded, "And Scott is your–" "Boyfriend, yes," Ella nodded with pursed lips. Liam playfully groaned, causing Ella to laugh. "That's a shame," Liam groaned.

"Hey, you're younger than me anyways," Ella reminded him. "By what? A two years?" Liam asked. "One," Ella said, "I'm not that old." Liam laughed. When Liam was about to speak again, a roar sounded from the hallway. "Did you hear that?" Liam asked as he began to stand up. "Liam, I'm pretty sure China heard that," Ella said, standing up, "Sit back down, its probably nothing." Liam shook his head and walked out the door, "Stay behind me." Ella smiled lightly at his protectiveness yet pushed in front of him, he was the injured one. "Hey!" Liam called out, "Anyone hear that?"

When there was no answer, Liam turned to Ella, "I thought I heard someone–" Ella then looked over Liam's shoulder to see a boy with blood all over his mouth and shirt, "Liam, get back!" Ella quickly ran into the room and grabbed the metal table, eyes glowing white as she threw the table at the boy then grabbed Liam's arm and pulled him up the staircase that lead to the roof with the bloody boy not so far behind.
