Liam went to press his hand against the mountain ash barrier, but Ella swatted his hand away. "Does anyone have eyes on the Closed Unit? I need a status report." Liam and Ella turned to see Scott holding up a radio. "It's a war zone down here," a guy replied. "Uh 10-4. And what about the patients? Lydia Martin?" Scott asked, glancing up at the two. "Ways to be obvious," Ella whispered, shaking her head. "Who is this?" The guy asked. "It's Unit Nine," Scott said. "There is no Unit Nine. Who is this? How did you get –" Scott crushed the radio in his hand, Ella's eyes widening. "That was hot," she muttered. Scott smirked for a second, "All right. We need to figure out another way to get into this Closed Unit." "How do we get through the mountain ash?" Liam asked. "I don't know yet. But there's somebody else here that might be able to help us," Scott said, eyes darting between Liam and Ella. "Who?" They asked. "Meredith."
Ella internally groaned. "Are you kidding me? Why can't we just get Lydia and leave?" "Easier said than done. Obviously," Scott said, waving his arms around for emphasis. Ella narrowed her eyes at her boyfriend, "Leave me alone and lead the way." Scott rolled his eyes and lead the two to Meredith's room. Liam and Ella stood by the door to keep watch while Scott spoke to her.
"Meredith? Meredith? It's Scott. Scott McCall." Scott looked at Liam and Ella before turning back to Meredith and turning her chair. Meredith had an emotionless expression, as if she was dead. Scott kneeled down at her side, "Hey. Meredith, can you hear me? We need your help. We're trying to find Lydia. We're trying to get her out of here." "Scott, I think we better go," Liam suggested, Ella nodding in agreement. "Meredith, listen. There has to be another way to get to Lydia. We can't get past the mountain ash. How do we find her?" Scott asked. "Scott," Ella said softly, trying to tell him that she doesn't look like she was in the right mentality to help. Scott sighed and went to walk back to the two, but Meredith got a grip on his hand. Ella and Liam shared a look before they turned back to see Meredith raising Scott's hand to the back of her neck. "I could hurt you," Scott said. Meredith let her hand drop to her thigh. Scott nodded, "Okay."
He then flicked out his claws and dig them inside of her neck, Meredith taking a deep breath as her eyes snapped open. Ella watched them carefully, biting her lip in anticipation. She just wanted to see what Scott was seeing. Liam opened the gate and looked out down the hall, seeing two orderlies heading towards them. His eyes widened and he quickly slapped Ella's shoulder then motioned towards them. "Well, we gotta do what we gotta do," Ella said. Liam nodded and the two walked out. Liam pushed the orderlies into the wall then knocked off the card reader beside the door before turning around and growling, eyes glowing yellow. Liam took care of one orderly whilst Ella took care of the other. When they were done, the two were on the ground, passed out. Ella and Liam smiled and high-fived each other. Their moment was then ruined by the sound of the card reader buzzing. They turned, ready to attack another. But when they saw the large man coming towards them, they both muttered oh shit.
Liam punched the orderly in his gut. Ella grabbed ahold of the guy's wrist and twisted it before kicking his back so he would land on the wall. The guy groaned, but quickly recovered, going at them again. Liam grabbed his shoulders and headbutt him. Liam stumbled around a bit, "Open the door!" Ella nodded and slid it open. Scott's expression was one of panic before the guy fell to the floor to reveal panting Ella and Liam. "Is he out?" Liam asked. Scott looked down at him, "Yeah." "Good," Liam said, giving him a thumbs up before falling to the side, taking Ella with him.

"Parrish? Parrish. Parrish. Parrish, hey," Ella breathed out as she held Parrish's face in her hands and his eyes fluttered open, "Can you hear me?" "How did I get here?" He asked, sitting up and taking Ella's smaller hand into his own. Scott glanced down at their hands but then remembered they were like brother and sister. "We don't know. We just followed the burning smell," Liam replied. "Parrish, listen. Eichen's in lockdown. There's no way for us to get out unless Plan B works," Scott told him. "Plan B? What's Plan B?" Parrish asked, looking between the three. Scott, Liam and Ella shared glances. "Don't worry about it. Right now, we need you to find Lydia," Scott said. "Me?" Parrish asked. "Actually, not completely you. We kind of need the other you," Liam stated.
"The Hellhound."

Scott, Liam and Ella followed Parrish, his burning body heading straight towards the gate. "Parrish?" Scott asked. "How's he getting through the mountain ash?" Liam asked. They watched as Parrish walked right through the gate, the mountain ash burning into blue fire as he passed through it. Ella walked up and held her hand where it should've bounced back. Instead, it went right through. "He's burning it right out of the walls," she said, looking behind her at the boys in shock. They ran to catch up with him.
As they skidded to a stop, Ella caught Stiles in her arms. Stiles wrapped an arm around Ella and together they bent down as Lydia began to scream, but Parrish's fire enclosed around her and extinguished it, large clouds of smoke rolling through the corridor. They watched as Parrish carried her out of the smoke, breathing heavy. "Where to?" "This way," Scott said. Liam lead the group, "There's a gate up ahead." "What about Mason?" Ella asked. "He's on it. Trust me," Liam nodded. "What's - what's happening?" Lydia asked. "Plan B," Parrish replied. "Liam, slow down. Liam, wait!" Scott shouted, but Liam easily pulled open the gate. "I told you."

"Get her on the table!" Deaton commanded. Ella stood to the side as the boys struggled to hold Lydia down. "Hold her." Lydia let out a loud yell that shook the building and made Ella lose her balance. She stumbled a tad before grabbing onto the counter and standing straight. "Doc, think you gotta do something," Stiles said. "I will," Deaton said, filling up a syringe, "But right now, I need you to keep her still."
"What the hell is that?" Stiles asked as Deaton brought the large needle up to the table. "Mistletoe," he replied. "Mistletoe? She's got a fricking hole in her head," Stiles said, Lydia moving more. "Stiles, help Scott!" Ella exclaimed, walking over and taking a hold of Lydia's leg. "Steady," Deaton said as he filled the whole at the side of her head with mistletoe. Lydia then screamed. It was a sharp, blood-curdling noise. It made the windows shatter, the glass coming into the building. Scott immediately covered up Ella with his body, making sure no shards of glass got into her. When it was done, he pulled away yet still held her close as they all looked at the close-eyed Banshee.
Stiles wiped away tiny pieces of glass that was on Lydia's face. "Lydia. Lydia? Lydia. Lydia, come on," Stiles said, "No, no, no, no, no. Come on, Lydia. Wake up. Come on. Wake up. Can you hear me? Lydia. Lydia, open your eyes. Come on, come on. Come on." Ella looked up at Scott with tear-filled eyes. He looked around the room, panicked. "Listen to me, Lydia. Hey, show me your eyes, okay? Lydia, you have to open your eyes," Stiles repeated, shaking her head lightly. When she took a deep breath and opened her eyes, Ella let out a small sob of joy. She hadn't lost her. "You okay? You're okay," Stiles breathed out, "Want to try to sit up?" Lydia nodded and the three teenagers helped her up, glass falling off her chest and onto her lap. She looked around, eyes landing on her mother, "Mom?" "Oh, honey," Natalie breathed out as she ran over to her daughter and cuddled her in her arms.
"They saved my life, Mom. Stiles saved me," Lydia smiled at Stiles. Ella smiled, placing her head on Scott's chest. Scott rubbed Ella's arm soothingly. "I'm not paying for the windows," Stiles said, jabbing a thumb over his shoulder. Ella chuckled.
And Ella thanked the Gods above that Lydia was alive. With all the loss in her life, she couldn't handle losing Lydia. But she is, Lydia is alive. Lydia Martin is alive.
