Phantom Agents 2: Scarlet (COMPLETED)

P R O L O G U E

I looked up in the sky... It's been raining for days; I sighed then pouted, I want to play under the rain but mom would scold me.

"I don't know what to do with her Cher, She doesn't like to go out of our house, never gets along with other kids, even her teachers are worried about her behaviour, bukod saakin ay wala na itong gustong kausap."

I heard my mom said while talking to tita cherry, I saw tita glanced at me so I remained hiding from mom's back, mom sighed. mommy said, tita Cherry is her best friend since they were a child up until now. Though I don't want to get near her, pinanggigigilan niya kasi lagi ang pisngi ko.

"She's just eight years old Scarlet, I'm sure makakahanap ka pa ng paraan to change her behaviour, Siguro ay masyado lang mahiyain itong anak mo."

Tita cherry said tahimik akong tumango tango roon habang nakikipaglaro sa teddy bear ko sa likod ng inuupuan ni mommy ay nakasalamoak ako sa tiles. Well I don't really like talking to anyone other than my mom, I feel nervous whenever I talk to strangers plus I hate the kids in our subdivision, they irritates me so I won't talk to them but they just keeps on bugging me, also they are bunch of bullies so I end up punching them on their faces, they deserve it anyways.

Mom often tells me to befriend them and play with them but they are really rude so I can't help but be rude to them too. Good thing I often watch action movies so I just immitate their moves to defend myself from bullies, plus mommy is teaching me self defense techniques since I'm four, I don't know why though.

"Mom!"

Said an unfamilliar voice, napasimangot akong isiniksik ang sarili sa isang sulok at sinuot ang headphones ko. It's a boy with a man, I think It's his dad. The man then kissed tita cherry's lips napangiwi ako roon. eww, they are exchanging salivas.

"Woah Is this Chase? Ang laki mo na ah, Good thing you decided to spend your vacation here, how's your life in europe?I heard you're at the top of your batch."

I heard my mom said to the tall boy, I just shrugged as I continue playing.

"Yes tita, I actually accelerated to 10th grade."

Ngiti nito, nakita kong dumako ang tingin nito saakin kaya agad akong nag iwas ng tingin.

"Woah your parents must be very proud, you're just 13 and already achieved so much, since elementary your mother always brags me about you, I also heard you also excells at sports?just like my daughter Rhia, She's just 8 but her teachers decided to accelerate her to 5th grade because she's incredibly smart, she also joined an international chess competetion this year and guess what? she took the gold medal home."

I pouted, when will they leave? they are so loud, my teddy bear will wake up from his sleep, pinapatulog ko siya pero ang ingay nila.

"It's because you taught her tita and mom says she's always determined to learn more. Same with my parents, they taught me lots of things too."

Said the boy I don't know who.

"The two were indeed gifted don't you think?"

I heard tita cherry said. "Kanino pa ba magmamana diba? Back in high school halos magkakompetensya rin tayo sa academics at sports but we remained best of friends." Dagdag ni mommy saka sila nagtawanan, I continue playing without minding them, I hope mom won't have to introduce me to them, I suddenly felt nervous, I really don't like talking to strangers.

"Anyways Chase this is my daughter Rhia, you're 5 years older than her."   Kinalabit ako ni mommy pero hindi ko siya pinansin, I'm shy

"Come on Rhia, here's your kuya Chase and tito Richard."
