"I am your mother Chase at kilala kita."
My mom said with a serious tone when she caught me staring at Rhia intently.
"Last night I caught you stealing a kiss, hindi na ako nagkaroon pa ng pagkakataong makausap ka."
She sighed problematically but her posture remained calm.
"Matagal ko ng napapansin ang kakaibang trato at tingin mo sa kapatid---"
"She's not my sister, mom."
I said cutting her words, mom shooked her head on me.
"She is, and she's just 16---"
"I know that and I perfectly know what I feel, I don't think I can stop myself anymore."
My mom shooked her head on me.
"Her heart is still young and fragile Chase, kilala kita, so please, if you really love and do care for her, please bare her from the pain, tayo nalang ang meron siya."
I sighed harshly remembering my conversation with mom back then when I was just 21. This all started when I was 19 years old and she's just 14. we were in our uncle's house for a vacation.
"Baka hindi na daw muna makakasunod sina mom at dad."
Bungad ko pagpasok ko sa kwarto ni Rhia.
"Hmm.. why?" She asked.
"May emergency daw silang kailangang asikasuhin, idagdag pang masama ang panahon."
I said, Rhia just shrugged.
"K." Tipid na sagot nyang nagpakunot noo saakin.
"Why are you acting this way since earlier?" I asked ngumuso ito saakin.
"Nothing." She said irritatedly, pumangalumbaba lang ito habang nakadapa sa kama nya, ako naman ay tumabi sakanya.
"Come on Rhia don't be like this." Nguso kong nagpapaawa sakanya, Rhia hissed at me saka umupo na at nagsquat sa harap ko.
"Mom said you have a girlfriend." nakasimangot na sabi nya, my mouth formed an 'o'
"you said I am your only girl!" pagmamaktol nya saka akong hinampas ng unan na na yakap yakap nya na nagpatawa lamang saakin. Ngunit agad din akong natigilan nang makita ang suot nya, it's my shirt, ngunit hindi iyon ang pinagtutuunan ng atensiyon ko ngayon.
