Guys, I am Cherry. Spread out for what I am going to say to your friends and families. I don't know whether you guys know what is happening in Hong Kong but I am going to explain here now.
We have 1.03 million of Hong Kong people marched on 9 of June to protest their dismay about modifying the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance.(Please look at the picture above) Why? It is because China can use this law to charge those who stand out to point out their mistakes and those who don't like China as committing crimes and they have rights to arrest them. But we have freedom of speech and it is our right, and now China will take it if Hong Kong's Government Carrie Lam implements to modify this law.
China always try to cover their scandals and arrest those who point out their mistakes. You guys can search about the Tiananmen Incident that happened back in 1989 on 4 of June. BBC news have reported it and it recorded that a lot and a lot protesters died from being shot and crashed with tanks. However, China are brainwashing their citizens about that no one were dead and this incident had never have happened.
We, including students and even workers will strike to surround the legislative council tomorrow because our dearest government doesn't listen to 1.03 million protesters' opinion and it is considered as illegal assemble and will have policemen to 'protect' (Including hitting citizen). And I am proud of Hong Kong and being a Hong Kong citizen.
