Chapter 11

A Sneak Peek into Edward's Head

After their unusual date, neither of the two could sleep that night. Annabelle was still pondering over her 'indefinite' feelings for Edward. She was so happy about the way things turned out in their date including the horrifically stupid kidnapping and the other silly stunts that Edward had pulled but she wouldn't have had it any other way and it amused her that Edward would go to such limits just to make her date with him unique, though she did love it beyond her heart. She knew she shouldn't develop such strong feelings for a guy she wasn't so close to, completely unaware to the part how she had forgotten him. He made her feel things she never knew she could feel with just his words and that lopsided smile which literally made her heart swoon. Admitting to herself about her microscopic-as she put it-crush on Edward was something she never knew she would do and if someone would have told her about this a week or so ago, she would have probably laughed at their face, whereas now, she herself wasn't so sure.

She was right. This one dinner had taken a one eighty degree turn in their already delicate relationship and she wasn't sure how she would address him thereafter. Once again, her fingers went to her lips as she touched them and instantly blushed upon remembering the way those lips had lingered on Edward's rough yet gentle cheek. She had just wanted to grab his face and kiss him senseless, running her hands through that untamed brown mane and letting her lips explore the roughness of his sexy stubble. She jumped suddenly snapping out of the trance, quickly blushing redder as she realised in which direction her 'violent' thoughts were heading.

Damn him for occupying my thoughts like this. Did he even think once of our date? Is he thinking about me right now like how I am thinking about him or is he snoring his ass off? With those last thoughts pondering inside her head trying to find an answer, she drifted off just before the first few rays of sunlight poked in through her window, indicating how those thoughts had kept her up throughout the night.

Meanwhile, Edward was trying hard to ease the tight bulge his pants which formed whenever he let his thoughts drift off to a certain someone who had captured his heart swiftly without his realisation. After his second cold shower for the night, he gave up on the idea of 'turning off' and exited the bathroom taking seat on the bed. He lay down and tried to get some sleep.

Edward's POV :)

I tossed and turned in bed all night restlessly, trying desperately to get some sleep. Nothing worked. I tore off my thin shirt in an attempt to let air inside my lungs and sat upright on the bed. Sighing, I looked around to find something that would maybe distract me and put me to sleep. My gaze fell on the bedside table's top drawer which consisted of my most favourite things. My most prized possessions and things which were dear to my heart rested inside that drawer.

I carefully opened the drawer and rummaged through it before pulling out a photo album. It was dusty and a bit old but I didn't mind the dirt at all considering this was the only memory I had left of Annabelle.

Annabelle.

That word sounded foreign on my tongue since I was so used to calling her Belle. It was Rose who convinced me to not jump back to the way things used to be since Annabelle couldn't even remember me, let alone the way I called her Belle. Had it not been for my eagerness to have Annabelle recover, I sure as hell wouldn't have let Rose talk me into this shit.

I loved it when she kissed my cheek today. I was sorta expecting more but the disappointment was understandable since it is Belle we are talking about and as beautiful as she is, the girl is one stubborn chick. How in love I am with this stubborn angel!
