You were absolutely exhausted. Life was tiring as it was, but being eight months pregnant definitely didn't help matters either. It took almost all of your energy to move around the house these days, let alone do anything else. Your schedule heavily relied on naps, which you usually take every afternoon. You just hoped that once this baby was here, they would want to take naps just as easily as you do.
However, being exhausted didn't mean that you weren't grateful. Growing up, you had been told by numerous doctors that you may not ever be able to get pregnant. You knew Ben wanted kids, and telling him you didn't know if you could broke your heart. But he didn't care, he just wanted to be with you.
Without even trying, or realizing that you were, you were pregnant. The day you found out was something you'd never forget. Ben bought boxes upon boxes of tests, because both of you wanted to be sure. You had to make sure it wasn't a false positive or anything else. All of them said it clear as day: you were pregnant.
Immediately you called and made a doctor's appointment to triple check. Sure enough, you were pregnant. You had never seen Ben smile so big before in his life, besides the day you got married and he saw you walk down the aisle.
It was hard keeping it a secret until it was safe to tell everyone, but the two of you managed. And now you were nearing the finish line, you were so close to having your little boy in your arms you could almost feel it. The only downside to being tired all the time was that you were usually asleep by the time Ben got home from filming for the day.
You loved seeing him talk to the baby, you could look at the smile it put on his face forever. Whenever you saw it, that's the one thing you hoped the baby would get from Ben: his beautiful smile.
Your days usually ended the same, falling asleep in bed with the TV on and whatever snack you had been eating half open on your nightstand. But you'd always wake up the next morning and it would be clean, because Ben would put his magic to work. Usually he didn't wake you up when he came in, he was pretty good at that.
