When Rock and Cut came back home, to heal Cut's injuries mostly, they didn't expect to find some extremely unhappy company. There were five other robot masters, Timeman and Oilman included, standing next to Roll, who looked like she was going to explode. Light was sitting in a chair, patiently waiting with a book in his hand, realizing the situation as Elecman gently shook him. Not surprisingly, Elec was the only one not angry. He looked rather amused by the trembling duo.

"Rock! Where have you been the past few days?! How could you just run away like that?!" Roll fumed. Bomb glared at Cut's injury.

"How did you get so hurt Cut?" Gutsman, who towered over them both, asked.

"Well...um..." Cut twisted his tongue, hugging Rock's arm. Their brothers were really pissed about this. But did they know?

"Why would you not tell anyone where you were going?! I had to find my way back here from the artic thanks to you!" Ice shouted. He looked flustered and hot from his coat.

"Fellas?" Fireman tried to speak up. Aside from Elecman, he was starting to feel bad from the anger the boys were receiving. And alarmed by their injuries.

"Rock?" Rock stammered as his sister came close to his face. She tapped her foot impatiently.

"Miss Roll?" Fireman spoke up clearly, finally catching everyone's attention. "I think we should repair them first, and then ask questions. Cut, are you alright?" He offered his brother a hand.

"Only a large gash and a couple of dents. Doctor Light, can I get a repair?" The doctor gently patted his back, setting him up on the table.

"Of course Cutman. Everyone, how about you help me repair him so we all cool down?" One by one, each robot worked around the little bot's injuries. Roll kept looking over to her pondering brother fixing himself up.

Ice and Guts were the first ones up. Since the wires were still alive, any movement resulted in Cutman screaming in pain. Dr. Light soothed the robot as he lifted the arm. Without crushing it, Guts snipped the last wires off, freeing the arm. Whimpering, Cut's wires sparked everywhere on the slick metal table. "Ice, quickly cool the wires down. We don't want him to lose power too quickly." Shielding his eyes, Ice breathed deeply, releasing a gentle breeze on the live wires. Cut winced and stared at Rock, ignoring Ice's muttering. Cut felt his entire side go numb, with Dr. Light carefully moving the wires around. Despite being robots, their internal circuitry almost resembled actual human insides. Large tubes and wires took part as veins and muscle tissue, the exoskeleton, they even had a stomach to break down the food they ate.

"Oh Cut, you were lucky you only got hit in the shoulder, the blow was way too close to a power chord. Had that chopped off, you would've powered down instantly." Light gasped.

"Luckily...Rock helped...me~." Cut slurred from the effects the ice had on his circuits.

"You still have to explain where you two were." Roll said. She watched Rock with worry now. Dr. Light smiled, but nodded for her to stop.

"It's okay Roll. I will talk with him after this."

"When did you come back Doctor?" Rock asked.

"Roll called me during my meeting, frantic that you went missing. I feared Wily caught you, but now I see you made it back safely." He smiled as his "son".

"Oh god, I-I didn't mean to scare you all that much!" Rock felt guilt weigh on his shoulders. Maybe he should've told his sister he was going to recover Metalman. But, in the corners of his mind, he felt she would've tried to stop him at any chance she got. Not that he blamed her though.

"You sure did!" Roll puffed her cheeks. Rock felt Elecman grip his shoulder tightly.

"I'm sure you had a pretty good reason why." He gave a small smile which was promptly returned. As the rest of the Light Bots finished repairing the both of them, Rock pondered about the red bot that left them behind at the junkyard just after he got repaired.
